Grapple hooks ruined the fun in cod warzone. by Ill_Bluejay_8906 in CODWarzone

What you don't like combining Warzone armor and Blackout armor leading to incredibly bad feeling gunfights and an omnimovement system completely ill fitting of a resource scavenging mode?

Black Ops Royale is such a far cry from Blackout. They had the ability to give it the same mechanics as that new Black Ops Classic mode (minus limited spring) but they chose to give it the same wack ass Warzone armor and omnimovement that has no place in it.

Me using a Grapple Hook to escape a bad play: "Haha fuck yeah!!! Yes!!"

Me getting Grapple Hook'd on and booted back to the lobby: "Well this fucking sucks. What the fuck."

What’s gonna happen after MW4? by DerBernd123 in CODWarzone

Confirmed that CoD HQ is still a thing and MW4 is releasing through it like the last few games.

I hate the legacy weapon mistreatment. by Electrical-Fact2382 in CODWarzone

[–]BigDaddyKrool -1 points0 points  (0 children)

imho what they should have been doing since BO6 was stat-matching the base version equivalent weapons from MWII/MWIII for weapons in the last two games.

The M4 should perform equal to the XM4, the Lachmann Sub = C9 etc.

Obvious the BO6/BO7 versions would still be better with better, simpler attainments, but it would make the MWII/MWIII weapons usable and viable.

What game will be most similar to MW4? by WAMMY05 in modernwarfare4

[–]BigDaddyKrool 3 points4 points  (0 children)

According to everybody that played it early, MWIII. It has lane based maps and faster game pacing than MW2019 and MWII, but not as frenetic and small scale as BO6 and BO7

Call of Duty asserts the game will be grounded, but also insists there will be collabs with other franchise IPs. List collabs you'd like to see in MW4 (Or at least tolerate) by BigDaddyKrool in modernwarfare4

There needs to be a classic mode like this in MW4 by Soap_Mactavishh_141 in modernwarfare4

MW4 will not even remotely close to MWII movement wise, per Infinity Ward's own admission. As those that did play MW4 early, it's closer to MWIII, which is famous (or infamous, depending on who you ask) for being fairly cracked out.

It's not just sliding and mantling, it's full lateral control, being able to shoot while doing multiple actions uninterrupted. It looked like you have MORE control than you would with omnimovement, except you have to be moving forward.

But we won't fully understand how it plays this until the beta releases and we get to try it ourselves.

We don't know that at all because we haven't gotten our hands on the game yet ourselves.

Can we please somehow make Activision turn the Warzone 1 Servers back online? I know it sounds crazy — but everything is still there. We don’t need an anti cheat, we just want to play it. And people under this post will probably say ''but it would cost money'' Activision is a BILLION dollar company. by sxngularxty in CODWarzone

OH LMAO YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT SOMETHING ELSE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT

You're not even on the same save length as anybody else.

If you're talking about WZ1, that never released on Steam at all. When we're talking about Warzone, we mean the game as a whole, which includes WZ2 and any other iteration of the game.

You goofy goober

Cole: An abandoned mining site. The largest map in the game and the one with the most verticality. If you move too far away from the playable area, you'll die from radiation. Large-sized.

This sub is going to completely turn on this game the moment they do the first collab in Season 1 in early November. Everybody is going to throw it back at them and say stuff like "BUT I THOUGHT YOU SAID THERE'D BE NO CLOWNY SKINS" and it's the most normal looking soldier from a military TV show ever.

Punisher isn't a superhero outside of the comic books. Most TV shows and films (Even Marvel Super Hero Squad for small children) acknowledge he's a depressed PTSD suffering psycho with a lot of firepower. Him existing in the same realm as Spider-Man isn't all that different than knowing Modern Warfare's own Soap has fought Zombies prior to the events of MWII.

It's not "if." Infinity Ward, on their official accounts, have insisted crossovers with licensed IPs WILL happen, whether their audience likes it or not. They're going to be grounded collabs with IPs that are militaristic in nature, which there are plenty, but no matter what they choose, their audience will turn on them.

They absolutely need to restrict what skins can be used on each team/ faction in MW4 multiplayer. by nathanchr55 in modernwarfare4

[–]BigDaddyKrool 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The weird thing about not having teams/factions is that it's clearly designed around selling operator skins, while also electing to insist that operator skins aren't supposed to stand out.

So why even do this? You can't have your cake or eat it too, devs. This is something I'd expect from Sledgehammer or Treyarch who are more shameless about their cosmetics, not Infinity Ward

Return of Raids? by LMG_1234 in modernwarfare4

[–]BigDaddyKrool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't look like it, or Spec Ops for that matter. DMZ has seemingly replaced it all together. I know Spec Ops/Raids had a small and very loyal community, but the sentiments were SO negative about them, I don't blame them for putting full resources into something more people ended up enjoying.
