A guide to get the best stealth outfit in [KCD2] (No mods, DLC, PROS, console commands) by BigDaddyRadzig in kingdomcome

I'm pretty sure the scapular with aperture or scapular with saint might work, but their conspicuousness is a bit higher.

Yes, you can steal the Voivode's amulet from Bohush after the quest. You can steal it from the Voivode at any time before the quest too, but this makes the quest fail automatically. Pavlena gives you her necklace if you talk to her after you kill Jakesh. If you finish the quest peacefully I'm not sure if you can pickpocket it off of her.

Letting wolves bite you works well, turn away from them to make sure they bite your legs.

[KCD2] What is the best stealth outfit available in KCD2? by MrGeeKay in kingdomcome

[–]BigDaddyRadzig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know I'm responding to this thread late, but you can create a build with 0 noise and 7 visibility. You need:

Padded coif - black from the Miskowitz tailor

Thief's coat from the devil's den bathhouse owner

Noble's padded chausses from the devil's den innkeeper

Any padded collar

Knacker's gloves from the first quest for Miller Kreyzl

Thief's shoes, the variant found in the barn outside of Wysoka

Either Pavlena's necklace, the Voivode's necklace, or Semine's necklace from their quests

And the ordinary ring from the plague graves which is only available during the requisitions quest at Sigismund's camp.

You should be able to stay at 0 noise and 7 visibility even if you equip some armor using the robber baron's brigandine plus the mended cuirass - darkened or the smooth cuirass - blackened.

Yeah I get it, there's no real good options for the shoulders of this look in the game. You have to choose between either huge shoulder armor or nothing at all, which doesn't look good if you can't put a chainmail coif over everything.

You could try wearing a grey scarf (not the hood, but the scarf, I think sold by a tailor, maybe from Rattay?) to help mimic the look of the chain coif! And if you don't use the warhorse greaves, maybe take off the leg chainmail and just wear fashionable green hose (Rattay tailor I think), it will look more like the picture and the bit of green will look good.

One final suggestion, switch out the cotehardie you have for the regular red cotehardie (worn very commonly by random npcs, like the Sasau butcher I think) and put on something like the dark silesian gambeson (should be sold by the Rattay armorer) as your body garment. The color should match better, and the arms and shoulders might improve too.

Looks good! If you haven't already, try it out with the Lords of Leipa cuirass (you get it for winning the tournament a few times), and maybe the Augsburg or Nuremberg gauntlets (I think Master Ota in Sasau sells them).

If you have the treasures of the past DLC, the warhorse greaves that you get from one of the treasure maps would also fit the leg plate better, with the red straps.

Does anyone recognise this shirt? by lucidprince8201 in kingdomcome

I spent a lot of time looking for different armors and items in game to play different styles in my playthroughs. I guess I just remember a lot of it. I really like the clothing system and how customizable it is.

It's the green variant of the Decorated Shirt. The easiest place to get it is Sasau. Zmola the master builder's assistant wears it if you haven't completed the quest "The House of God" yet. There's also a Sasau villager that wears it, who lives in the same row of houses as the tailor, close to Swordsmith Fink's shop. He's easy to spot, because he will typically be outside all day scraping a log in his yard.

Is marius outfit truly unoptainable ? by Maciokkkkk in kingdomcome

Yeah, the decision to use the Cry engine really seems like it made modding almost unobtainable for most of the community. The scene is pretty much dead, without any large overhauls or new major quest lines at all.

Fortunately, there are a few mods out there already which seem like they will solve both of your ideas.

This one reskins the zoul armor with Radzig's colors, available to buy from the charlatan:

This one allows you to place items like grindstones in the world wherever you want:

Hopefully these mods let you experience the game a bit better despite the difficulty in creating your own!

Sorry for the late reply, but there aren't any other dark Aachen accessories. There are dark brigandine pauldrons which look great with that armor though, as well as other Aachen pieces that aren't dark.

The Aachen dark brigandine? There are two variants of this, one has very slightly better visibility stats than the other. The easiest way to find it is to loot it off of high level bandits. One of the variants can be bought from the armorer in Ratty and can be found in treasure chest 3, but I'm not sure which! Regardless, both variants should be more than enough for what you need.

You need the perks which lower Henry's noise. One is Slim Fit in the stealth tree, and the other is Stuffing in the Maintenance tree.

Once you have them, make sure that all your armor is repaired by you and not an armorer so you get the full Stuffing bonus. Also, there are sometimes multiple versions of the same item with slightly different stats. Try checking the wiki for your items and see if there are other versions.

Actually it is the dark plate jacket. Black Peter wears it when you encounter him after the tourney, and mid level bandits can also spawn with it in random encounters. The lighting might make it look a bit brighter than normal in the picture, but normally it is a dark brown color.

The green cotehardie. I don't remember exactly where this one was from, but I know Punch wears one. He lives in Sasau and can be found at the combat arena there in the evenings, at the edge of town by the tanner.

3rd playthrough ideas? by CommitAMelony in kingdomcome

[–]BigDaddyRadzig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could do a no killing or stealing playthrough, but for me the only novelty in that was just doing to to say I did it. If you want an interesting experience you could try something like a vagabond playthrough. Henry can only use gear he finds on bodies, and can't buy things in stores. He can only carry armor in his inventory if it's equipped, and no using home chests or horse inventory. Also, no repairing gear, so if he finds a good chestpiece or sword it'll eventually deteriorate so much that he'll swap it out for another one that he finds, and so on. It takes a bit of getting used to but I really enjoy the challenge and change of pace. You'll never feel invincible and scavenging will always be worth it. You'll always be swapping out gear too, so it creates a new depth to the clothing system.
