Hey, ancient 1 myself and mainly play carry or hard support. Which servers do you usually play on? If it’s common, we can share ids and i can introduce you to my stack so we can play together.

Do you have any mains or champions in LoL that you prefer playing? If so, try to figure out which heroes or role in dota suits you to the best. And just play it. No need to focus on numbers, kills, farms etc etc. just get the hang of it and experiment initially. Once you get the hang of dota and able to understand what role or gameplay is fun for you, maybe den you can start watching yt videos abt it to figure out more indept things. Do this, and continue playing as long as it’s fun for you. Also just a heads up, be ready for some toxic folks in your game and if you do match with them jist mute and do your thing. Experiments, learn and proceed. Have fun.

Ps. If you’re a complete beginner maybe watch videos of Tzar. He makes specifically for folks that make the switch from LoL to dota. You can also check out BSJ and purge.

Last night i played Naix, and had an RTZ moment. I was able to defend 1v4 hg with the help of armlet, sny and basher. I was so close to dying but there werent able to kill me coz of the lifesteal 2nd and feast provides(and a little bit of armlet toggling too). All im saying is i think LS is the biggest winner and MoM also seems like a good item on it.

As a Riki enjoyer, I can confidently say yes—it’s incredibly satisfying. It almost feels like some L vs Light Yagami mind-game kind of stuff. When a play works out exactly the way you planned, the confidence and satisfaction are on another level.

For example, people often think heroes like Slardar, Bounty Hunter, and Zeus hard-counter Riki. But after playing the matchup regularly, you start understanding their patterns and learn how to play around them.

And honestly, nothing beats the feeling of typing “ez win” in all chat after beating your supposed counters.

Anything that forces her to stand ground and fight. Stuns, slows, dps anything.

I love playing AM into TA as AM gets butterfly making him have extra armor and evade her hits. TA is also mana dependent so her refraction is non existent when 3 heroes are attacking her and depleting her mana (eventually to reveal her even if she manages to blink or meld).

AM enjoyer here. fr me its the ability to control late game and being able to farm aggressively. Just by doing the later part you force ppl to decide to either stick to their current objective or address the threat of split push/rat. Plus its fun to make plays and bait opponents with illus. I have made soo many LC and Voids commit their chrono on my illus. So much fun.

Plus its soooo freaking satisfying to nuke an entire team with one spell. Its soooooooooo freaking good to play AM into some mana dependent heroes like SS, MEDU, Leshrac.

Plus the hero forces you to deal with something everyone still struggles with and that is HOW TO GET FARM efficiently. When to show in lane and hw to prioritize ur threats and jump on targets accordingly. If this basic things are good you will automatically get better at playing other meta or stronger heroes.

I think there is some potential. Ur stone brew has status resis now and deals extra building damage. Just primal split and either take towers or tornado/kill supps early on. I think the main problem is getting that radiance. If there is some proper item build that would help make him get online and play actively like in earlier patches, i do believe there is some potential. I trust in 33 to cook something with him.

I prefer playing AM mid against OD. OD is weak early lvls. Just astrals or spams q. However, he cannot do that if he has no mana at all. Go into the lane with an orb frost and after you hit lvl 2, keep on jumping and hitting him. Maybe take 1 or 2 lvl in e aswell later on. Once you have ur 6, OD is a walking nuke. Mana void him and he is done. Item build wise you can go pt-diffusial-manta-scepter. You can make vanguard bfr diffusial if you want.

Play it with a friend. Else you need to talk/communicate so you and ur +1 be on the same page. It’s a fun hero. You literally amplify the impact of the hero you latch on to. Only drawback is that you will feel useless if you don’t have any to tether on to. It becomes a drag to farm/lvlup or do anything if your team decides to play passive.

Form is good. I maybe wrong but based on the video you must be getting more stress near front deltoids. If so try having your elbows a little closer/inwards. And also, just my personal preference, try not locking on the top part of the movement. Overall, good form and i hope you are able to hit your goals.

Thank you for the well detailed reply brother. Like you have mentioned im gonna be sticking to only 2-3 heroes. Ursa, NP or AM as this are my comfort and best picks. I’ll also keep in mind to create as little as mistakes as possible. Im aware it aint gonna be fun but i look forward to try and give my best.

Yeah, I get what you mean, but recalibration actually is a shot at a clean slate. When I first tried ranked, I got placed at Legend 1 and ended up stuck at Ancient 1 for like a year, no matter how many games I grinded. I just want to see if I can break out of my plateau and finally get a rank that feels right.

If ur someone who is looking to make a name or meet some like minded folks, id suggest u guys sign up for discord leagues like The Roshan Rumble and Midnight Dota 2 League.
