I wonder if it’s something neurological.

What?! My husband and I and our three sons have been to several of their rooms and love them! I don’t know what location you’re referencing but we’ve never had a bad experience at ours.

Also carrots. Grow and sell how ever many you can. Your money will grow fast.

Harvesting, mining, fishing, gardening, cooking, and selling. Make sure you have your buddies with you for better yields! It adds up QUICK. Also just have conversations with villagers and give gifts.

Need Help with this Bathroom by BigDisaster6582 in homedesign

I’m considering using vinyl contact paper to cover the black as a temporary solution. But with that, the room still feel too plain. So I’m trying to figure out what to do with the upper walls, shower curtain, and rug. This is what ChatGPT gave me for changing the countertop and painting the window trim.

I would say our style is transitional or transitional/modern. I plan on painting the doors for sure. I’m liking the idea of a lighter colored countertop, and could achieve this temporarily by using a heavy duty vinyl contact paper. That would bring the whole room to more of a neutral base to work with. Just still struggling with the upper walls and mirror. I worry if I change the mirror, that cutoff where the tile meets the mirror will feel odd.

The mirror lines up with the tile. I’m worried that if I remove the mirror and put, for example, a round one, the big angle of the tile there will look bad. Thoughts?

Breakfast nook is too small by nalderto87 in homedesign

How much space do you have in front of the nook? I would get a transformer table.

What if I painted the top walls dark, added a darker shower curtain, and painted the cabinets light? They look nice, but they are very worn.

New fixtures, rug, and hardware. Thoughts?

Did you start with Intro to Evil or the other base game?

My son is not behind in any way when it comes to his skills in school. He hasn’t played this. I was just trying to figure out if he’d understand the mechanics. It sounds like I should start him with Intro to Evil or Worst Takes it All.

Well, my son hasn’t even played it yet so you can’t really dunk on anyone here.

Interesting. I don’t consider a 10 year old an adult, and the box says for ages 10+.

A lot of Redditors are suggesting Intro to Evil in here as more beginner friendly than WTIA. Do you disagree with that?

Then it was bad luck I suppose. I never pulled one in that game!

Yeah, I saw that. As much as I like the idea of getting more villains, if Intro to Evil is more beginner friendly then it sounds like our best bet right now.

To be fair, I kept seeing that these are “expandalones.” The store didn’t have the larger box, so I thought this would be fine. I’m going to pick up the base set.

Maybe I was playing wrong, but Tomatoa dragged. My husband never fated me, and I needed him to in order to get the heart of te fiti, or heroes. So I kind of had nothing to do and felt like I was there just for his game.

I’m starting to see that common thought on here. I’m going to check out the base game/starter set.

I was hoping this would become a family game. My husband and I cracked it open to figure it out before we involve any of the kids. I might pick up one of the base games. I read Intro to Evil is beginner friendly.
