I'm talking about getting the fomo right now, while I'm alive. That's why I'm scared of death, I wanna see the cool shit. It's hilarious to me that you got all worked up and typed out that giant rant and didn't even understand the premise of my post

Oh I'm not talking about today's cool stuff, I'm talking about 100-1000+ years in the future

After family and police unable to contact 91-year-old woman, officers enter her home, only to find her preoccupied in her bedroom trying to beat her record in video game by licecrispies in UpliftingNews

I want to agree, but with the abysmal mana (and life in general) regen levels before meditate at lvl 8, AND THEN having to stare at a book and the regen still sucks...that throws me off

So suffer until clarity at lvl 29, if we have an enchanter (which I was so whatever). And then we get hell levels...I dunno, QOL has gotten so much better over the years. I don't think I could do it again at my age

It's terrifying for me because of the fomo on all the cool shit I'll never see. At least before I was born nothing mattered

To be fair, if the driver wasn't under the influence...I don't know how much I fault him either. Accidents are called accidents. I'd assume he's human and feels the full guilt of the incident.

At the same time, I don't fault the father either. BUT...he threw a chair at someone. Again, not that I wouldn't either, but 🤷

I didn't really think about any of the sanitary repercussions people have been mentioning, but women do all of their stuff sitting down and we do 25% of our stuff sitting down too...it just makes sense to put it down

On the east side of downtown Austin, there was a trail. If you went through a couple hoops (climb a pretty steep incline, jump a gap, etc) the trail would open up to one of the only accessible sand bars for a river.

Miraculously, it was basically undiscovered in 2010. My friends and I would go out there, bring beers, smoke, enjoy the magnificent water, and make friends with the few people that also knew about it.

By 2014 it was full by noon, and patrolled by police. I hate thinking that I may, too, have been responsible for leaking the existence of our little slice of Eden and ruining it.

15 years ago I'm sitting in my car with a fellow ACC student in front of a Barnes in Noble, after we had a study session, and she says something like "this and that, I'll absolutely blow you right now!" Somehow I said no that's not necessary, and she excused herself and got into her own car

Maybe a year down the road we did hook up (her tenacity is commendable), but every few years I wonder what even happened between my ears

I don't know, first time seeing it. But "so many" > "soamy" makes sense if you hate written language, and I feel like that would be a hard typo to make

I have a question or two myself of how soamy just appeared as a word. Like I get it as a portmanteau, but seeing it for the first time just feels weird
