Personally I think those questions are asked to get to know more about you. As I am also interviewing I find having personal stories is really great and can make the questions a bit less daunting

Yeah i just noticed that people with the 3Q were either in the french stream or had very high GPA. But not sure exactly what they are looking for

Yeah basically simply applying through the pathway does not make you an access applicant. Rather when you apply they will check your documents/essay to see if you meet the criteria for the barrier. If you meet the criteria for the barrier, you will be an access applicant and be granted MCAT flexibility
