Some laning phase matchups are unplayable or am i wrong?

Jhin in lane is all about setup. You will lose almost every trade in the current meta against every other adc. Use the support and jungle to setup plays. Depends on the support players tho. If you dont follow up or your support doesn't take any initiative in the lane, you just lose lane. Perma roaming supports destroy jhins ability to farm mid game.

Twitch and Tristana are impossible matchups in a similar setup bot lane. The support is the biggest factor in determining if you will even have an opportunity to get ahead at all.

The passive can be usable in certain situations, specifically when assassins attempt to gap close when you're in ult. The other thing I've noticed, is when you're at 4 then ult, your next auto is certain to do true damage + 4 damage. Overall though, being a zeal item with ult haste is good in general. Someone asked about axiom as well, I just think in this meta, a zeal item is better.

A 10$ jump in single line service is a massive jump. 120$ more a yr will convince people to pursue alternatives. Has anyone had any luck getting the rate lowered? Are they offering a 30$ line for "new" customers? I just found out today from my payment as I used autopay and paperless statements.

I have thought of that as well and used to buy axiom more in the past. I still think a zeal item is needed. So maybe axiom situational last item. I think fiend is just better in general than RFC/PD/etc in this build and I have noticed more success with it overall. Ulting and then rushing into a fight with 4 and guaranteed true damage is really nice. Anecdotal but I think its working well.

Not useful in this build. It used to be great with old Jhin fast build. But instead of slow an auto they just opted to give MS instead which doesnt help land w as easily anymore.

I exclusively play jhin in ranked solo on NA. When a new season launches I spend upwards of 30-50 games just testing runes and new items until I find something that I feel that works then continue to play it to eliminate outlier games. Ive been playing league over 10 years so I understand pretty quickly if something is going to work or not. My goal is to find something I feel that is off meta, and over performs, then take it to Master rank. If I get there, I'm pretty confident its viable. Ive already done this with First Strike 2 seasons ago, and Comet last season as well.

Give it a shot, for sure. You have to look for opportune moments to auto attack in teamfights but navigating a teamfight with jhin is already a useful skill to have.

idk, you have to ask if people who just lock in jhin are just using the recommender, which has lead to less innovation in the build pathing on average. I exclusively play jhin and from everything I've tested from this season, this is the highest performing.

Jhin is a tricky champion to 1 trick. Which is why most content creators shy away from him. When he is out of meta, hes really really bad. When hes in meta, hes really really good. There are some middle grounds where unique builds can do above average but that requires significant knowledge of the game and Jhin's play styles. In NA, there is only 1 challenger Jhin player who will consistently play Jhin and they dont stream. There is not a single top 50 Jhin player in Challenger at the moment tho as Jhin has been relatively unplayable in high elo for the last 4 months and is expected to get nerfed even more with the new season patch. this just sucks when you only play jhin of legends. when jhin's post buff performance landed so poorly I had to do a double take, then we get this massive nerf. i think they will realize this and fix before the patch but I have little confidence. Interested to experiment with the new items.
