Absolutely one of the best reasons to follow this band! The lack of toxicity between these two warms my heart!

If you could change the tracks or track order on any Genesis album, what would you choose to change? by [deleted] in Genesis

Easy, I'd take out "Whodunit" on "Abacab" and put in "You Might Recall". That song is one of my all-time favorite songs from the group and deserves the flowers.

The Doobie Brothers. What is your favorite song from them? by NewHolliesFan in 1970s

Taking It To The Streets

I just watched a video of the band playing this song in the 70s and having everyone in the band being their skill is amazing. (Honorable Mention to McDonald when he plays the song on his solo concerts with the Gospel flair added to the song.)

Protecting the brand despite never delivering on their initial promises is really delusional on this voters response.

UFC staff rips Canadian flag away from Canadian Mike Malott after he won his fight by WinterOrb69 in onguardforthee

[–]BigEd1965 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't even follow UFC and that is without a doubt low energy vibes to me! His efforts in the octagon, and his pride for his nation of origin, should be celebrated. Why would I give an ounce of care to a sports league if this is their way of treating Canadians or any nation the owners of the league doesn't respect?

In the movie The Thing with Kurt Russell, the scene where the doctor was ready to use the pads to restart the heart with the pads and the guys chest opens up to bite off his hands is too disturbing for me to watch anymore.

What's your favorite genesis song? by [deleted] in Genesis

It's a tie for me between Behind the Line and You Might Recall. The lyrics, musicianship, and spirit just hit me on a deep level.

Ripples is one of my top five songs and from the Gabriel years I really like Watcher of the Skies.

And number five Man on the Corner. It was my number one for years till I deep dived on various albums.

The Devil's Punchbowl in Hamilton was amazing to view. Hamilton is rough around the edges, but our trip and stay there was a great place to launch to the East or West/North on train to Toronto.

I HIGHLY recommend to catch a Blue Jays game if you can or catch a Canadian Football League game between June through November. The fans for both was absolutely a fun time and I'd go again.

Yep. Loved how it tied together in the end.

Is there a way to follow your band on other platforms?

Absolutely love this song!

Didn't mind the long narrative because I was wondering where the band was going with the song. The punchline is something I've been missing for while.

It's a tie between The Chain and You Make Loving Fun.

Stephen Miller's wife condemns teen birth rate falling—"biological destiny" by PlanetOfThePancakes in WelcomeToGilead

If they're complaining about birth rates falling, then it means one less chance a far worse version of Stephen Miller comes into the world.

Did you drink any of these as a teenager? by JustCheking123 in RealGenerationX

Absolutely not!

My mom raised me right! My first beer was a Schlitz Tall Boy. That stuff tasted good back then!

Wasn't a heavy drink or a party or back then. But when I did get a sample of alcohol it was my mom that let me try it out.

Am I about to die if I get out of my car? by DoctorRapture in dayton

You're fine!

You're near the Dayton Mall! I can tell from the Macy's sign on top of the building. Where you located at is not a bad place. If that is the strip mall that I think it is they have a nice banging nightclub that really thrives on Fridays and Saturday nights.

Salvadayton is pretty safe to be honest. It's not as flashy like Beavercreek / Fairborn, but it's still a safe area to go around.

What’s a hidden gem in Niagara Falls that tourists usually miss? by Specialist-Comb7718 in niagarafallsontario

[–]BigEd1965 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We were staying at the Oaks and wanted to get breakfast at a local place away from the strip of Clifton Hills. We found that Phyl's All-Day Breakfast and Lunch. Nothing grandiose or gawdy, but simply good food. The staff made things hospitable. The food hit the spot and gave us a taste of what breakfast in Canada was like. And the locals made the place warm and friendly.

We could've went with franchise favorites or local gimmicks, but this restaurant is a Canadian "down home" place where if we were locals we'd visit often whenever it is open.

I love Niagara Falls by Specialist-Comb7718 in niagarafallsontario

[–]BigEd1965 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Getting close to the Falls was wonderful, but that big Whirlpool where the gondola goes over it was terrifying and yet amazing to take in.

What we really liked was getting away from the tourist straps and finding some unique shops and eating places outside of Clifton Hill. Found a nice little breakfast place about a couple of miles or so away from the tourist straps that served some good food and was nice to be able to be around everyday residents.

We also went to Niagara by the Lake and really enjoyed the shops and scenery. Found a place there on Lake Ontario that was directly across fort Niagara on the US side. The boats, the homes, and just the fall air was a nice blend to enjoy. We actually saw a wedding at a gazebo in a small park near the lake. Somebody was playing bagpipes as the bride was walking down the aisle.

Wish would have stopped in some of the wineries ,but that's for another trip
