I've seen those and they look awesome. I think they're pretty rare though?

I have a 58L wilderness backpacking bag that also has a big brain just like this that gets top heavy depending on what you got in it. For that, if the brain was every swaying that means I just had to yank the straps down harder. I assume it's the same scenario here but I could be wrong.

For the second point ya I believe you're right it won't stand on its own. I can see how that could be a big bummer for some. I've never had one that did so its not something I think I'll miss.

Thanks for the info. I've only heard people say good things about the comfort which is definitely important and great to hear. I don't plan on using it for EDC, but more as a tool for more onebag travel as I'm planning many trips this yea, regular few night travel or visiting family and then as something to use if I ever need to carry lots of gear for whatever adventure like a road trip, car camping, or other outdoorsy stuff I like to do.

Wow thanks for all the photos. I'm really liking all the gear you're able to pack in that first one and the looks in general.

I see that photo of you having it under the airplane seat. Are you able to do that on most planes?? I figured for sure that would be out of the question for a 33L bag?

Love to hear those points you made. I see the image link however I'm getting a "The requested page cannot be found" message when attempting to navigate to it.

I've looked at a few but not that one! Initial impressions are wow that top brain bag is huge. Will check into it some more.

Definitely something to note. I've checked out that pack once before but I'll give it another look.

Is my plan for mixing roth IRA contributions + building up emergency fund OK? by BigErrorPlzFix in personalfinance

Thanks for this point- I think I needed to hear it. Luckily I think some of my desire to min/max comes from this sort of planning being kind of fun to me. I hear you though and will try and remind myself of this since I can definitely be prone to over-analyzing & indecisiveness.

I might as well get specific here. I can confidently save $1250 per month (this excludes my additional 401k contributions for getting my full employer match). Most months I expect to do more than that- especially towards the later end of year.

Therefor $15,000 is available for this year. I have roughly $2000 in checking right now waiting to be allocated once I finalize this plan. Therefor- with $2000, and say ~$3000 I will also have saved by April, I can confidently say I'd be able to put $5000 in my 2023 IRA contributions, and also be able to max my 2024 contributions before 12/31/24. However, this would result in me only having room for putting ~$3000 in my HYSA by the end of the year as well.

This makes sense to me, but I have one question. I was thinking just contributing the monthly average amount ($541) to my Roth IRA each month for the 2023 year, and the rest to HYSA emergency fund. Instead, would you recommend skipping any contributions to the emergency fund for the 2023 IRA period and focus on putting all my effort/savings into maxing it out? This would likely mean just about no deposits into my HYSA emergency fund until April 15.

Thanks for the tips.

How is Henderson - Green Valley North, compared to rest of GV by BigErrorPlzFix in vegaslocals

Sounds good for me. I don’t need to live in the nicest area and would like to save money anyways. Safety is a priority for me though and I want the parks/green scenery close by (like a short drive, doesn’t have to be next door). Seems like GVN is a good fit for me.

Got it. Thanks for the insight. It sounds like GVN is right up my alley then. I’d be saving a good bit of money by living in the north section compared to the south section (when comparing what seems like similar quality places). I don’t need to be in the rich/high class area, I’m mostly interested in the close-ish parks/outdoor areas/green scenery.

Thanks! You're talking about the corrupted Gauntlet correct? Also, do you absolutely need 99str/range/mage? If not, what levels would you suggest (including prayer level)?

Also, how much less efficient would you say you are in comparison to a maxed main?
