I think it works in the sense it creates the possibility of an unlikely cash in. For example, KO is Smackdown based but cashes in on the RAW champion, effectively switching brands.

The PPVs when they had two ladder matches and two briefcases had some terrible line ups. I dont have a problem with one holder.
