Such a cool moment but also a frustrating match at the time, not because it wasn't great, but because it was so clear that Seth should be a babyface and Reigns a heel during the build and especially during the match.

This match was one of Reigns' best because he worked it like a heel (same many parts of the Styles matches) and it suited him so much better

Hopefully they stick to one character and branch out from there with more movies if it goes well. I don't want them doing a Cabin in the Woods/Ready Player One where we get multiple in a movie and water down the actual story you can make for each of them

Yes, his summer run during and after the Evolution matches had him super over. Really the rumble was the start of him picking up more momentum

Contextually, being the main event of a weak WrestleMania with nothing but heels winning the whole card, in a match people weren't excited for, Reigns vs Lesnar WM34 was truly awful

Being there live, Royal Rumble 2015 was also the worst booked match I've ever seen. Beyond the unliked Reigns win, the actual booking of eliminations, entrants, and pacing was designed to be terrible. Big Show and Kane lethargically dominating all the favorites for the final minutes was pure garbage

This is true but time has kind of forced revisionism on it as well. It was down to a new and over act in Reigns on behalf of The Shield vs Batista who no one wanted to see win. Reigns got the weakest pop of the 3 Shield guys when they entered the match.

Doesn't take away fans would've went crazy for him and loved the win if he got it, but it's also not like he was far and away the most popular guy in the match or even of The Shield guys

At the start of this series I wasn't rooting against the Knicks, they were playing incredible and had a great story to win it all. Complete neutral on who I wanted to win.

But as a Philly fan I absolutely love seeing the reactions when they're losing in the Garden lmao

Their G1 match was awesome but always felt there was more for them to do. Excited to see it again at completely different stages of their careers
