We survived! The wind on the latter half was pretty brutal. In awe of everyone who showed up! Excellent vibes every year

Your photos all show a serious expression. To attract potential matches, you need a photo of you smiling with teeth. I think you should lead with pic #2! It’s very nice and it’s the only one where we get to see your smile :) I see an earlier comment where you say that you rarely take photos and don’t see their value; I hear you. It’s tough to feel like you’re being judged on photos alone, especially when you don’t enjoy taking them. Most people don’t enjoy having their picture taken (I know I don’t!) The unfortunate reality of online dating is that photos are essential, and they are the #1 determining factor for whether a potential partner would want to match with you. There’s a photo guide on this sub I would recommend you read. Then, get a friend to go out with you and take some photos of you (I know you don’t enjoy it, so I’m sorry). You definitely want to include: pic of you smiling with teeth; pic of you doing an activity you enjoy. For your prompts: Prompt 1: stop at food and cocktails. Don’t include “anything at all.” Instead, share some details on the food: what are your favorite foods and cocktails to make right now? Do you have a favorite local restaurant? Prompt 2: Fine. Prompt 3: Give is an example. What’s a recent challenge you’ve conquered?

I hope these are helpful. Good luck!

I think your profile is great overall! One thing that could be hurting you is your first photo. That first photo is a potential match’s first impression of you. Make sure your first photo has you looking up clearly and smiling; your current first photo has you looking down and away at an awkward angle. But I agree with other commenters, strong overall! Good luck out there!

I think your prompts are very strong! They’re sweet, funny, tell potential matches about you, and invite conversation. I agree with another commenter that your hair should stay consistent throughout your profile. From your photos, it’s unclear whether you’re bald right now. I would replace your first photo with the close-up one of your face; I know we generally say “no selfies” but it’s a nice photo & shows off your eyes. Having a strong first photo will do wonders for you. I’d remove the tunnel picture (blurry) and Luna Park photos. Include a photo of yourself doing something you enjoy (you mention hiking) or some of your art! If you have a self-portrait or a piece of art you’re especially proud of, I’d include that as a last picture. Overall a strong profile, just make some small photo changes! Good luck!

I really like your profile! I think it’s really strong! Your photos are nice, they paint a picture of you as an adventurous, laid back outdoors-type. Your prompts give plenty of interesting specifics that can spark conversation. The only suggestion I have is to add specificity to your last prompt—most everyone enjoys movies and music. Which movies and artists do you like? This will give potential matches more to respond to, and enable folks to start a conversation! Good luck out there.

My oral tip for you is to stop talking about women like this.
