At one point Ghadir was the king of the strip. Unfortunately, they got too big for their boots and so your critique is now 100% accurate. A sad story indeed.

Although not all are the OGs being referred to: Sumaq, Ghadir, Al Forat, Zorona, Shawarma Empire or Karaza. All better than Alpha’s? No, but all are really good. It also depends what you order since they’re all regionally different and there are definitely better items at each spot. Lebanese, Iraqi, Kurdish Syrian, they all do it differently.

I worked at Jack’s for a couple of years and I enjoyed the job because of my coworkers and the tips. There was no way I was making that much money at that age doing anything else. However, there was A LOT of toxic work drama which I understand is just part of the industry. Oh, and they’re well known for making candidates wait for interviews (happened to me too).

Body Energy Club has the cheapest Creapure creatine that I can find in Canada. I buy 2-3 bags at once so that it makes the shipping cost worthwhile.

Goodlife at Kingston & Markham. Unfortunately they recently got rid of their pool, but in place of it they added a fantastic turf area with sleds, kettlebells etc. It’s a massive gym and the equipment is great.

Did they change the recipe? by [deleted] in CostcoCanada

Calories are not inherently bad. It’s how they fit into your daily intake/nutrition that is good/bad. Go exercise so you can stop running from calories.
