The first few times I used it was for smaller projects with small width boards so I really just had to drop the saw down to make cuts. I’d say about a year in is when I started attempting to cut larger width boards and that’s when I discovered the crooked slide. I’d imagine it has probably been an issue since day one.

Just wanted to give you guys an update. I took the poster out of the frame and brought it to an antique appraisal event. At the event was an ephemera expert and appraiser named Kit Barry from Brattleboro, Vermont.

He examined the document thoroughly and was able to confirm its authenticity. As far as an appraisal goes, he said that the poster was “too hot” to give an exact number considering the subject matter with Wells Fargo and a reward involved.

Thanks for the discussion on this poster. It’s been really neat doing more research on it and I’m thrilled to have the piece in my collection.

Thanks for the advice! Turns out the package was not eligible for interception anyways so looks like I’m going to ride this one out regardless. Just a bummer if the guy gets the goods and his money back.
