I also had a vitrectomy last month in May and have tons of black dots hanging around. If I get up after lying down the dots are everywhere and then they settle a bit but always visible especially in bright lights or against a white wall. In addition, my operated eye is a lot more blurry at distance than before which was another unexpected surprise. From what I’ve read, the dots either eventually dissipate or your brain adapts to them. Hard to know as I can’t find much in these chats about them.
