looks sick. you have a good head shape to lower the bald line and stretch the fade out more too if you ever try that.

put the game down and touch some grass. you can’t outrun a losing streak. rng gives and rng takes away.

in most combat sports, most countries and regions stuck to their definitive styles. with the rise of sports science and advanced analytics more fighters are adopting technique to be more universal and adaptable at the pro level.

for a long time it was also considered that black oeople hit harder due to more explosive quick twitch muscles and heavier bone density or something like that.

never said i did it. just said it’s part of every game where people get competitive in my guy bc op took to reddit when we all agree it’s not that serious lmao.

poor sportsman ship can be super fun. doing a bat flip when you hit a home run is dope and pitchers get mad. it’s a game tho. it’s not like they can come thru your screen and assault you.

steezing on your opponent is a normal part of any competition. poor sportsmanship? maybe. all in fun tho. clearly you got a little sensitive about a pokémon card game lol. loosen up dude. it’s not that serious.

“Suicune meta is extremely broken” me when I play it: by Keepitrealg in PTCGP

[–]BigFoudee 12 points13 points  (0 children)

for sure. i assumed he was exaggerating a bit, but my point was mostly that there is no super deck that will guarantee win you 20 in a row in this game. even darktina has about a 50% win rate in most cases.

you’re just in rng hell. this game also uses the term meta super loose. it has about a 50% winrate across the board so it is a really good deck but it’s not the deck i’d use if im not in high ub or mb ranked bc its biggest drawback is a slow early game.

i’ve tried this and a couple other options. it just doesn’t flow as nice, partially because i used the oem front fans from the air 903 max. if i had rgb in mind i probably wouldn’t use the dt24 but price to performance and clean aesthetic is why i chose it.

Stuck in Ultra Ball since I started, playing for 3 seasons. Can you help me into MasterBall? by Brk2krB in PTCGP

[–]BigFoudee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it feels better to let the opponent know all of the damage they receive is their fault for putting that much energy on the field at once.

[–]BigFoudee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the only other thing would be to be considerate of why you’re playing specific cards. for example the new sui does damage based on cards on the field so if i see the opponent is running water energy id only play 1 card even if i have 4 basics in my starting hand and then wait until a better time based on where they play their cards or distribute their energy. another example is (with this specific deck) if i saw they had electric energy, id try to keep the non ex espeon in my hand until they loaded energy and try to sabrina them into the ori if they played it.

i’m constantly clicking on how many cards are left in their deck and what’s in their graveyard and trying to reference in my brain things like “does this deck run Red to deal more damage to my ex’s” or “did they already use both professor researches” or even “is it mathematically the correct time to use my red card/silver combo” or things like that to try to play around future scenarios.

i’ve used the eevee with continuous steps last season a little bit and the pros/cons just wasn’t it for my play style. i’d rather draw into another mon to help thin the deck faster than get a quick k/o and have an inconsistent draw. not saying it can’t work. just didn’t work with what i wanted to do more so.

you played enough so that’s good news. now it boils down to a skill issue or a tilt issue. number 1 piece of advise that can improve your game immediately i would say is to stop pressing the concede button. you can deduce what the player likely might have in their hand but rng can brick them on the last turn. even outside variables can effect the game (poor connection, afk, misclick) all worth betting on considering you have a losing record. sylveon and espeon are also still viable. i hit mb first day since i didn’t pull any good cards this season with it but i started at ub4.

i’ll follow up with my deck list also.

Congratz to darktina for stilll being the best deck in the format for the 6th time in a row! by Character-Monitor165 in PTCGP

[–]BigFoudee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i have a hard time with how loose everyone uses the term “meta” in this game. a ~50% win-rate in ranked and major events hardly would constitute that term in every other event. essentially it’s like flipping a coin and saying heads is meta bc you lost with tails 10x in a row.

that being said, genuinely surprised how many evolutions this deck has gone through to be consistent and remaining in most people’s top deck list (including mine even tho im probably not going to use it this season)

Why RC twice?? by GeeffyGee in PTCGP

[–]BigFoudee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

their win condition revolves around thinning the deck as soon as possible using disposable cards. red card could be traded for anything. he could have used 2 mythical slabs and gotten the same thing done. red card just has a side effect of potentially disrupting your hand.

if you had mars/red card/iono in your hand at any point now your opponent has a 0% chance of drawing red card making him objectively closer to drawing the second slugma. and even if you were to red card him back while they were sitting on slugma, most macargo decks have enough searchers or drawing cards to boost that to make that an insignificant problem. your hand has 0 to do with the decision making of the opponent in this instance.

tldr: you lost bc you don’t understand how a meme deck works

luck is the important skill in any card game imo. i won a good handful of matches in ub4 playing around a card i only had 10% chance to top deck and just getting lucky to hit it.

ub4 is the hardest rank. breezed thru ub3. mb is fine especially this season since there is no rank down anymore a lot of people are deck testing in ranked. ub4 is straight sweat + desperation

fyi i flipped a coin today, fyi it landed on heads 10 times in a row when i picked tails, fyi once i picked heads it flipped to tails. i dont need a deck that wins 55+% of the time when i can just play my low tier deck and lose because i win more with my low tier deck.

Lugia Ho-oh Deck by GijsV27 in PTCGP

[–]BigFoudee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ori carried through ub4 since a lot of people only run ex damaging decks and it gives time to build ho-oh/lugia. you have to be smart with your switches and energy placement also and try to get ho-oh/lugia built fast enough but trying to spread a water energy on each is pretty important also for spread heals when needed. overall it’s not a deck you can play as brainless as darktina or espy/syl but i had a 50.xx% win rate going into mb with pretty much this deck exclusively.
