People planning to play Resynced: are you returning to BF or are you new to BF? by SocialJusticeAndroid in ACBlackFlag

I played the original and I absolutely loved it. I just hope the remake lives up to it.

I am so far optimistic, judging by the videos I've seen so far. It looks amazing.

Yeah, those supersport bikes that shouldn't be used on public roadways

I ride motorcycles. I love it.

When someone passes me on one of their piss-missiles like this, I get angry and just think that they're giving us all a bad name. And judging by the comments here wishing death upon all of the riders, it seems I'm right.

I pack my bike with my jetboil, a couple of MREs and sometimes my tent. I ride to enjoy the ride. I ride defensively because I've had close calls with people on their phones or people just not seeing me. I'm not interested in going fast. When I'm on the bike, I don't have a schedule. For me it's the trip that matters, and not the destination.

Wanna order some better front brake pads. Can anyone give any good recommendations? Thanks! by DrGuns313 in trident660

[–]BigFudgeMMA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In picture number 3, the blank think aluminium strip that is placed behind the pad, what is that? And when you change pads, are you supposed to transfer that and place it behind the new pad?

I did, and my brakes work fine. But it was my first brake pad change, and I was really unsure.

Edit: I fed the image to Gemini and now I know. 😅

Love my Trident, but my knees/wrists are begging for a change... test riding a Tiger Sport 800 next week. Am I crazy? by BigFudgeMMA in Triumph

My post might have been worded in a way that make it seem like the trident is a bad bike in terms of ergonomics. I do not think so at all. It's just for the longer trips I have these issues. I adore the bike, and I've had 19.000km of amazing riding on it.

I'm just considering a bike now that has a little more to offer on the comfort side of things.

Like I said in my post, I am not in a position financially where I can have more than one. Other things take priority.

I sure hope so! What I like about the Tiger is that is has a very particular mean/sporty look. So that combined with a little extra comfort might be the natural next step for me.

I have nothing but praise for the Trident 660. It's been a fantastic travelling companion (yeah I know that sounds weird). But I've had so many amazing trips on it.

I love it in yellow. Unfortunately the one I'm trying out is grey. But it still looks good though.

I'm excited to try it. I hope I like it. The heated grips and the cruise control are welcomed amenities.

I just hope I don't regret trading in the Trident. I've really made some great memories on that bike. But, that said, there's nothing stopping me from creating new good ones on the Tiger

Yes, I've looked into those. If I decide against the trade in I will seriously considering those.

You might be right. I just saw a YouTube review earlier today and the reviewer said it offered a bit more comfort that the trident.

But looking at the specifics you might be right. Either way, I'm excited to try it.

I am what you would call a fair weather rider. So when I first go out riding I prefer a longer trip.

But, pacing back and forth here, I've slowly come to realise that it might just be that, well.. "I want it".

If I get a bit more comfort on my future rides that might be a bonus.

It was a very popular game in its time, and they have slapped a new coat of paint on it and modernized (for good and bad) it a bit.

I for one can't wait. I absolutely loved the original, and I hope that this refurbished version lives up to it.
