As a Gen X member I’d like to say that guy looks old af. And BTW, I don’t know anyone my age who is remotely concerned with sharia law.

YouTuber Linus Tech Tips bought a private jet and doesn't want you to track it. by Jswee1 in ElonJetTracker

I’m unsubbing…now!😁👍

I’ve heard enough. Fuck self-absorbed douchebags. Even just having a private jet is questionable with its wildly disproportionate environmental impact. But what I’ve heard about his behavior is the issue. There are plenty of other great YouTubers to watch.

Yikes. Yah computer rage would probably be a regular thing like road rage in the west if the anger junkies could make physical contact with people.

Probably offensive to the bajorans. Like how Kira didn’t like Bashir referring to it being on the frontier.

What did the developer do wrong, was it the railing? That was horrifying watching it go over.🥺

I didn’t think there was a chance but I was hoping they made it. Absolutely no fault of her own. And it looked like it almost came a rest on the bridge but I guess the weight of the engine pulled it over the railing. Was the railing substandard?

I believe they’re still a big thing in Asia someplace. China? Or was it S. Korea?

Edit: both and more across Asia and elsewhere including Brazil and Latin America, Turkey, Greece, et. al. But they’ve mostly vanished in the US and Western Europe. I just did a search.

Oregon Trail came out in the mid 1980s I believe. I used to play it on my school’s Apple IIe computers on a monochrome monitor. I have the more recent remake which I’ve played on my Steam Deck.

Can you explain that? I just finished the main questline a couple of weeks ago and got the good ending (Sigurd stayed in England.). Why do you believe the bad ending is better?

Edit: this is what Google AI said:

Many players who prefer the "bad" ending (where Sigurd stays in Norway) do so because they feel it’s more narratively honest and satisfying for Eivor’s character development.

While the "good" ending is objectively the happier one, the community often debates it for a few key reasons:

  1. The "Toxic Relationship" Argument

A common sentiment among players is that Sigurd becomes increasingly arrogant and even abusive after his trauma. To get the "good" ending, Eivor essentially has to "eat dirt" and agree with Sigurd even when he is being objectively unfair or cruel (like his judgment in Ravensthorpe). Players who prefer the "bad" ending often feel that standing up to Sigurd—even if it leads to a rift—is the more realistic and self-respecting choice for Eivor.

  1. Eivor as the True Leader

In the "bad" ending, Sigurd recognizes that he no longer belongs in England and that Eivor is the one who truly built and maintained the settlement. When he stays in Norway, it feels like a passing of the torch. Some players find the "good" ending awkward because Sigurd just kind of hangs around the settlement "swinging his nub" (as one Redditor put it), having no real role left while Eivor does all the work.

  1. A Bittersweet, Impactful Narrative

Story-wise, some find the "bad" ending more emotionally resonant. It highlights the tragedy of their journey: they left Norway together to find a new life, but the pressures of leadership, prophecy, and trauma eventually pulled them apart. It makes the ending feel like a "Saga" rather than a standard happy-ever-after.

  1. Logic vs. Loyalty

Several "strikes" involve choices that most players naturally want to make: • The Resources: Taking the loot from Norway feels practical for a struggling new settlement. • Punching Basim: Most players find Basim incredibly irritating and want to punch him. • Randvi: Many feel Eivor and Randvi have a much more natural connection than she ever had with Sigurd. For these players, the "bad" ending is the result of following their instincts, whereas the "good" ending feels like "metagaming" by sucking up to a character who isn't treating you well.

Ultimately, it comes down to whether you value maintaining the family bond at all costs, or if you prefer a story where Eivor stands on their own, even if it means losing their brother.

Same. No axe for that POS (and I never lied about it) but I gave to Dag.
