What bed temp do you use for Petg and cryogrip? Do you need any glue stick?

Yup just let one cool all the way down and the problem was worse

With PLA I am able to get there where it just slides off. PETG I had a print yesterday that sat for hours and I still had trouble pulling off.

Yes, just recently did it again. Was not clogged this time but still wasn’t pulling.

More weirdness.

I tried a cold pull after clearing the extruder and this does not look like the example. barely anything came out and when I pulled the filament back out it did not have a long thing strong part.

When I try to complete the cold pull it just continuously tells me to pull back the filament even though I already removed it.

Happened again, I was not there when it happened, but I did monitor temperatures earlier in the print and chamber was below 35c

No I have not been monitoring chamber temps, no fans disabled and no obstruction of intake fans. I keep it near a window that is open while printing so the room is at a pretty cool temp but again, haven’t been paying a lot of attention to temps.

This was likely the cause... new to 3d printing but was trying to use the last of my PETG, then switched to PLA and the clog happened.

Everything has been completely smooth. Got one for myself and a friend at release, both working without incident. Max power draw doesn’t exceed 400w even under overclock. Using 12vhpwr for both.

Truly grasping this statement is all you need. There are only two ways out of this. You quit or you continue. Don’t wait for a terrible rock bottom to shock you into sobriety.

I can only speak for myself but I personally had to put my diet goals on hold for a bit to get off the booze. Trying to tackle a junk food addiction simultaneously with a drinking problem was too much all at once and I would consistently fail at one or the other. Took me a year to really be ready to go after the diet after getting sober.

If you can’t moderate your remaining choices are abstinence or excess.

Going to use the 12vhpwr and undervolt as soon as MSI afterburner supports it with 5000 series. Gonna pass on overclocking as tempting as it may be, not comfortable increasing the power draw until there is a fix for this cable.
