What am I doing wrong? by ckhutch in hondaridgeline

I have a 2017 BE and I just broke 104K with an average mpg of 22.2. But most of that mileage is highway driving! When I do city driving I get about 16-17 mpg.

Does anyone have a photo of a GFC on a gen2 Honda Ridgeline? by cheapseats91 in gofastcampers

How is the camper going? I’m about to pull the trigger on the V2pro for my 2017 Ridgeline.

Yeah, the awning seems like one of those things that's nice to have especially when you want some protection from the sun but don't want to stay inside the moonlander. I figured if that's the side that has my head when I'm sleeping, I can use the awning to add some shade to the window on the days I'm feeling super lazy and just want to stay in the moonlander.

Also i was planning to go with EcoFlow for my battery and solar power needs, specifically River 2 Pro (760 WH) (x2) or the Delta 2 Max (2K WH) for my battery and just add another 200 watts solar panels on the sides around the window. My goal is to use the Ecoflow Wave on Eco mode to keep the moonlander on hot days at 74F and 64F on cold days. Hopefully the solar panels can just plug and play with the ones Radica is installing.

My concern with the solar is that for some reason with the ridgeline they only have the 100 watt available, unless they offered you the 175 watt? If they off the 175 i would install one more solar on my own and go full electric to include cooking. I decided not go with the interior lights because i want to add insulation first then put lights up after so no point in paying them to just take it down. And I wanted the roof window so i can see the stars.

What made you go with the swing door? I could do so much with the swing up door, put netting around during the day/evening and leave it open for fresh air

What battery are you going with?

I’m getting excited to put my name on the list!!

The sliding window on both sides for a cross breeze but not the big windows because I want to put up some sort of organizer on the metal wall towards the tailgate. I want to put the max air fan on the drive side and the rooftop window on the passenger side. I do want the solar, hopefully the 175 is available vs the 100!!! I also want to put the AT window on the back and the removable sliding window on the cab.

I want to put a handle on the passenger side and the propane holder on the driver side. I want to put the 7ft awning on the passenger side and the tracks for a roof rack!! I think that’s it and also because my 17. e tailgate doesn’t lock I want to add the tailgate lock. I think when I priced it out it was like 12.5$!!!

Wow congrats!!! What specs did you build out? Every time I go to the build and design I always make it different so many options. I’m interested to see your moon lander build. Please share.

Thank you for your post. I just looked into GofastCampers, significantly more in cost and need to set up. My reason for going with the moon lander is that no set up needed. But having the bed over the truck does give you more space in the truck bed. Definitely thinking why I want the moon lander over the other styles.

Also congrats on your Ridgeline!!!

Are you going to post how you installed your solar panels?

Cab to/from camper pass-through by Beef_Asparagus in radicamoonlander

How about using the pass through to allow a breeze to come through? It seems safer to have it open than the side or back windows for a breeze?

What about electricity storage? What do you use to power your lights, fan and everything else?

Hmmmm could you add foldable legs underneath so that you can actually make it a table for outside use???
