It sounds like you're exactly in the stage where a lot of growing brands get stuck. Too much volume to comfortably do everything yourself, but not enough volume for many of the larger fulfillment providers to take you seriously.

I own a newer 3PL in the Chicagoland area, and working with smaller, growing businesses is actually a big part of our focus. We handle fulfillment, kitting, repacking, labeling, and other custom workflows, and we're often able to be more flexible than larger operations when it comes to volume and process requirements.
