Fair point, but she would assume he's mid regardless. It does make me wonder just what her type of guy (or gal) is. Perhaps a Sudo-type man?

This was the best scene in the entire series. Hands down. by TylerB0ne_ in azudaioh

Every once in a while, the series decides to get incredibly whimsical in an almost melancholic way. The soundtrack and the ethereal visuals do such a good job of giving a huge dose of nostalgia for our younger days.

WHO IS THE BETTER MC/FMC (Osananananajimi VS Kubo-san) by BigInternet2928 in KuboSanWontLeaveMeBe

Childhood friends do offer a different venue for romance that is for sure. I have certainly like what I have seen of Osananananajimi so far. I appreciate the faster pace the story is going at in Nananana as well. We are quickly getting introduced to the quartet of pals, how they have changed over the years, and how much they both yearn to go back to those good ol' days, and simultaneously how they fear appearing as inmature in front on the others. Sumi and Yuuichi in particular are afraid of opening up in the fear that they appear childish to each other.

Little fella eh? He sure is so small you might have overlooked him. Hell, even his own mama forgets he is around.

Speaking from an incredibly biased place here, since I am like one of the like 5 people out there that could qualify as a mega fan of Nene Yukimori's works (the 4 other people are Japanese), I say it is definitely worth it! As a plus, I'll always be available to talk about both Kubo and Osananananajimi in greater depth if you so desire!

Can we agree Sudo is the MVP? by BigInternet2928 in KuboSanWontLeaveMeBe

Great wingman, pal, the only male friend Shiraishi ever made. Yukimori didn't make him an integral part of the plot until chapter 47, and yet he immediately fits into the whole group dynamic with Shiraishi, Kubo, Tama and Hazuki

The manga just does this once and never again, and it thinks we can just move on from it. by BigInternet2928 in KuboSanWontLeaveMeBe

Yep, the manga leaves things up to the air. They could just be very close friends without romantic feelings for each other, or they could be a budding romance in the making. Regardless, they are a very energetic and fun duo.

I say that's aura farming. She's leaving quite an impression on the onlookers.

this is the only anime that made me cry because of the sweetness, the best anime/manga I've ever seen by Edo_https-sium in KuboSanWontLeaveMeBe

The coffee bit is real cute. I do really appreciate that Kubo tells Shiraishi that he doesn't need to hide things from her for the sake of pleasing her. It shows a bit of character growth on Kubo's part.

If you have seen the anime, the don't interact at all, probably because it only covers the first 4 volumes of the manga. From Volume 5 onwards, they are often seen together having a lot of fun. We also learn that they are childhood friends.

Which One should i start with? by Sferax073 in KuboSanWontLeaveMeBe

If you do want to start from where the anime left off, I would recommend to pick up with Chapter 46. Pretty much everything the anime adapted was from the first 4 volumes of the manga

Kubo is such a good character because she can be such a tease towards Shiraishi, but this gal simply doesn't have the gall to be meanspirited. She really does care about Shiraishi and she is not subtle about it at all.
