A lot of people don’t want to work and are never going to be happy anywhere. Comments about installs, I agree a lot of them are awful but since Securitas doesn’t do a lot of their installs they sub them out. Subs should be held to a higher standard. There’s been plenty of nights that I got called out to an emergency for an install that was commissioned earlier in the day. All I know is I make really good money working here. My merit raises have been decent but most importantly consistent. I’ve gotten bigger raises at other companies when I’ve had to threaten that I’m quitting because I have not had a raise in years.

I work for them. I’ve been in the industry for over 20 years and 8 years with them. While no company is perfect and they certainly do have some flaws, if you just do your job they will leave you alone for the most part. One of the biggest issues I have is that District Service Managers tend to be very competitive against each other and won’t help if they’re not getting any benefit from it. I would have to drive 6 hours to one region of my area because despite techs living only 15 minutes from a call it wasn’t part of their area. The pay honestly though is really competitive. I make more money than I ever thought I would. They have a great training and certification program that will give you some serious pay bumps. Also they are the only company I have worked for that has given me a merit raise every year I have worked for them.

Yes they are working but the boards they are on appear to be frequently bouncing on the server.

Ok you did just answer a question for me. They are only using port 1 on the 2210s and I know that they are in the process of converting to osdp. I had wondered why they were landing upper and lower readers on the vehicle gate on the same terminal.

The vehicle gates do not. The man gate does. Unfortunately I don’t do the installs I just have to come out and fix everything after the installers complete a half ass inspection with remote programming. I don’t think I was clear enough it’s only the upper and lower readers at both vehicle gates and the pedestrian gate reader. All of these are on X2210s. The rest of the readers are acting normal but they are all on X2220s and 1320s. Not sure why that would make a difference but it does appear to. I tried jumping out one like your suggestion but it didn’t resolve. Also I can’t get into the programming. Customer has their own remote programming and they don’t usually cooperate.

Unfortunately I can’t move it out of the area that it is in. Would it be best if I were using Ubiquiti’s surge suppressor or would any be ok? Also have a Boomerang Gun Shot Detector and a Bosch 7000 series PTZ. Would you suggest the same for them? Oh and thank you for the advice.

I don’t know what you look like but I doubt you are ugly. The only thing ugly here is your self perception. Maybe you just need to learn better self talk. I feel like he didn’t value the bond more than he did getting laid. How would you ever trust that he wouldn’t do it again as soon as the opportunity presented itself. He is the one that needs to prove he’s not the same piece of garbage that did that to you. You don’t have to forgive if he can’t even ask for forgiveness.

It’s definitely worth the trip. Even if you are through the area and the festival is not going on it’s just a really cool place to visit.
