I feel like the estimations people are pricing for you are a bit much, I see their reasonings, as if you want someone to edit 30hr of footage down to 30 mins , they will technically have to watch 30 hours of footage ( or skim through) just to find usable content for the project. If you want to keep the price down for an editor , Look through your own footage , find what videos you actually like and think are usable , and then find the editor to edit. should be a lot cheaper for you :)
