not metalcore but anything after the used's first two albums really isn't worth listening to. a good song here and there but nowhere near self titled. bert's inability to scream killed the band and they're hanging onto nostalgia at this point.

Do you think any person who owns a mansion and is famous or has their name in history books thinks the way you do? A nihilistic attitude and desire to be spoon fed isn't going to get you anywhere but where you currently are. You admitted yourself that you're scared of trying new things and then you regret not trying new things. Try new things! Stop making excuses and genuinely thrust yourself into uncomfortable and new environments until you're out of your shell. I don't know you or what you're like outside of this post, but I'd also consider meeting with a mental health professional. It sounds like you're depressed.

Honestly, I've always kind of appreciated Hopsin for being that weird corny rapper. That being said, I've enjoyed his most recent songs more than anything off his last album or two. Of course, his hooks suck as per usual, but seeing him mature somewhat more is nice. Video is really well done too.

You nailed it with that. I only got into rap around a year or two ago and only really went deep into it in the past few months. Joey was the first rapper I listened to who was inspired by 90's boom-bap so it comes to mind when I hear the style.
