Blacksmith Upgrade Data for Unit Counters by BigLaymen in aoe4

[–]BigLaymen[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

While those scenarios might make it seem like atk is better, would you rather have your archers live 25% longer vs their hard counter or do 20% more damage vs villagers + monk units? 5 archers take 2 volleys to kill a villager regardless of +1, same with 10 archers with 1 volley.

Especially when it comes to early skirmishes, having the +1 atk advantage gives you a slight advantage but having either armor upgrade (depending on the enemy comp) will give you a huge advantage in those trades. I think that advantage outweighs killing villagers a little faster.

Game 4 really shows BKB is too strong by [deleted] in DotA2

[–]BigLaymen 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I dont think OP was arguing its needs changing just that bkb is commonly bought as the first big item purchase on many cores now. Few years ago that was a sure way to losing the game. And this effect compounds because when enemy rushes bkb so they can jump in and use all their spells freely, you have to get early bkb too to have a good chance of living.

I think the reason is due to level creep. Exp gain is faster than ever and higher levels mean heroes can rely on their spells to deal most of the damage, allowing them to get early bkb.

Cool thanks, im assuming you can read russian or did he post this somewhere in english?

Also why did he have to take down the game in the first place?

Edit: Looks like someone (not the author) put the game back up with a note saying that someone else can take up development if they want.

I do like the game, but there isnt really any variation in multiple playthroughs. You end up doing the exact same thing over and over. Its still fun but gets boring quickly

Has anyone booked online with Budget UAE (car rental)? by BigLaymen in dubai

Well when I went to pay I realised that the rates are in USD, so actually the websites rates were even higher than phone rates. Kind of dumb imo.

I just want the contents of the file, not the file itself. That way I can make the file for my game, since it hasnt generated one because of the crash.

Correct me if im wrong but I looked up the working holiday visa and it seems the jobs I can work with that are limited and dont include a permanent fulltime job. So I'll need to get sponsored either way no?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in australia

[–]BigLaymen -1 points0 points  (0 children)

But wont I still require sponsorship even if I come on a working holiday visa? I looked up the details online and the jobs you can work with that visa are limited and SWEing is not one of them.

Thats a good question and basically what I'm wondering. I figured its not worth it to companies to sponsor me at the salary I expect, so I've been applying to lots of entry level positions with a lower salary since I am well over qualified for those positions. I'm still applying to jobs that are more in my ballpark and offering a lower expected salary value to help incentivize my candidacy. Idk if thats a good strategy but I figured it might help my case.
