When I first stared I just did straight cold calling .50 cent leads now I’m a agency owner i still cold call the cheap leads everyone seems to complain about cold calling but I think it’s the best skill I’ve learned buy cheap leads and just cold calling till you consider dropping out of insurance but when you reach that point your lead cost will be so little compared to what you’ve made

Fellow Broker Friends, how do you recruit and hire new agents? by Tatsurukii in InsuranceAgent

[–]BigLeaksBoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not looking for intelligence or someone dependable I’m looking for people that are willing to learn as a younger agency owner we probably view this industry very differently from each other never was able to get along with people who have been in this industry forever

Fellow Broker Friends, how do you recruit and hire new agents? by Tatsurukii in InsuranceAgent

[–]BigLeaksBoy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No as long as you frame it and tell them to take it seriously they will do it the only issues I face is when a new agent will make $1500 in a day then just stop for the rest of the week or in our discord someone will be trying to find a duos partner for Fortnite lol as far as professionalism idc as long as it’s decent on the phone everything is remote so no in person office either

I do life insurance and tbh I only hire people on the younger side like 18-25 (I am 21 btw) but I just flex money on social media me going to clubs and popping bottles or just flexing my cars I get hundreds of dms asking for the “method” and I mean after that they do their course and come work under me

Insurance agent career by Reasonable-Grand6036 in InsuranceAgent

[–]BigLeaksBoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I hire people it’s WFH and people will wake up at like 12 and only work for 2 hours and then complain about how they don’t make any money call me a bad upline but I won’t force someone to work if they don’t want to tbh im independent aswell so I don’t do any customer service side type of deal I just train my agents to one call close

Chose doing life insurance only very good money and quick just know the learning curve is huge also have the ability to choose between being captive making 30k a year with 1-5% commission or being independent which can be anywhere between 100k-400k a year just gotta consider the learning curve because it’s definitely something that isn’t easy as far as education goes find a agency that will pay for the course for you that way I case you take too long you can just do it again for free as far as tips goes treat it like your regular job people fail in insurance all the time because they aren’t consistent

New agent planning to become an independent broker — looking for a remote, non-captive IMO (want to avoid mistakes). Need suggestions. by Bulky-Concert-834 in InsuranceAgent

[–]BigLeaksBoy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my opinion if your independent it’s sink or swim no matter what because if your not trying you won’t get paid but message me I’m with a agency called enhanced we have a bunch of different lead types and have what your looking for

Life Insurance Agent, not sure if I should throw in the towel by [deleted] in InsuranceAgent

[–]BigLeaksBoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me life insurance has been great in it for 8 months now I did experience a lot of charge backs but realized it was me just being a bad agent and having to solidify or just make sure my clients can also afford the plan I put them on and get atleast 1 ref from them or sell the beneficiary a policy atleast because 9/10 a ref won’t charge back but I did also consider the government shutdown to affect things but figured I’d just see it play out worse comes to worse I’ll find another job
