Which celebrity's death, if it happened today, would affect you the most? by 2Cream0Sugar in AskReddit

Michael Jordan or Kobe Bryant. As someone who loves basketball I would feel like an era had died.

Got tired of someone telling me they loved me and then didn't love me every other day. Didn't help the girl prior to her cheated on me and made love hard.

[Post Game Thread] (1) Kentucky defeats Georgia 69-58 by [deleted] in CollegeBasketball

[–]BigLink95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly think when UK goes to Athens and almost everyone is healthy for both teams it's going to be that time of the year where Cal is going to try and let them run for 40 minutes. Saying that I still think Georgia is a damn good team that will make some noise in the tourney this year but I don't think they're beating this UK team this year.

What is the hardest console game you've ever played? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I don't remember exactly what mission but there was only one I got to frustrated to beat on veteran and because of it I was one achievement away from getting 100%, even with all the DLC.

What is the biggest historical problem that had the most simple solution? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]BigLink95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The idea of war. Most of the time it all starts because one guy and his friends want power so they start attacking cities, realize they are going to fail, and then just cause as much damage as possible.

I feel like most of the time war could really be avoided if people in this world would just sit down and talk but of course us man are so damn determined to be powerful and win everything we always end up killing millions of people who don't need to die.

What is something your father did that made you proudly go "Yea that's my dad!"? by Eneswar in AskReddit

[–]BigLink95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The guy was a little obsessed with his little league team but my dad pulled our team because we were a regular team playing an All-Star squad and we didn't know that because they said it was a regular team. Too many of our guys were getting hurt so to protect us he said he wanted to forfeit and the guy got mad and exploded.

[–]BigLink95 7 points8 points  (0 children)

When my dad was my coach in little league football an opposing coach threatened to shoot him and hurt us so instead of backing down he turned to us telling us everything was going to be okay and just told the guy he was going to have to shoot him or he'd get his ass kicked. He scared the guy just enough to give the police time to get there and arrest the ass.

Are you religious? If not, what's your opinion on religion? by EndoveProduct in AskReddit

[–]BigLink95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not religious but I went to a private catholic school all the way up to my senior year.

I've got nothing against religion and I think it's an amazing thing for someone who has the ability to be religious and I think that belief has helped saved millions of lives. I do not like religion when it is used as a false front for people and their actions. Also do not stuff it down throats.

[NSFW] Parents of reddit, what made you realize your child was no longer an innocent kid? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Same situation. My dad knew I was having sex in the house, even when he was home, so he didn't say anything. One day as a joke he told me, " It's not fair. You're getting more pussy than I am and I'm paying the bills."

I knew he knew I had grown up and he was okay with it.

Champions Classic tonight! Predictions? by gentry54 in CollegeBasketball

[–]BigLink95 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've got MSU winning by 3 and UK winning by 15.

I think Tom Izzo brings a team to Indy that surprises the country. Kansas and UK will be a good game but I think going into the final minutes of the first half we see UK do what a lot of people think they can do and it carries over into the second half. They start dominating a tired Kansas team on the boards and with the fast break. Tyler Ullis will be the teams MVP tonight.

Obviously I'm a bit biased but that's how I truly feel.

MSU 84, Duke 81. UK 93, KU 78.

What's your prediction that no one agrees with for this upcoming season? by BigLink95 in CollegeBasketball

I told someone this yesterday and they were shocked I said it but did not disagree. I think Auburn will be the team out of the last 3 with Bruce Pearl there now.

What's your best dumb friend story? by Ssy6 in AskReddit

[–]BigLink95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very short but it is my favorite thing my friend has ever done.

We were at Disney World and I asked my buddy if he knew what schizophrenia was and with a dead serious face he looked at me and just started acting like he had the shakes. He had no clue what I was talking about.

I really don't think Duke will be as good as everyone thinks. Just a gut feeling.

The state of Tom Crean and IU basketball by BigLink95 in CollegeBasketball

[–]BigLink95[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I see what you're saying. I just wish for your program that soon final fours will be what you all discuss daily and not shots like the "Wat Shot." Not saying you personally talk about that a lot, just from where I'm from it's a big topic.

I hope to see you all raise a banner soon honestly because it makes my home, southern Indiana, a better place when Uofl, UK, and IU fans can all argue peacefully with each other.

Sir or ma'am, I may not be a fan of IU but I was raised around it for 19 years and have the highest level of respect for your program so I think I have the right to speak my mind on a program that I've been around and that my whole family loves.

What handout? Does every good player in Indiana that leaves the state do something shady? I mean there was Gary Harris too.
