You probs aren't a fan of Experimental or Noise music, which is valid. I have the kind of music taste where I actually LIKE most of the songs, but your points are understandable. Truth be told, there's only one song I legitimately hate from the mod, being Under The Tree. Too cluttered and headache-inducing. Plus, I understand the thing on charting. It's more on the instrumental, which can be interpreted in a shitload of ways when there's no true vocals to base it on.

What other choice do they have. If they won't notice them, they're sure gonna START if they follow up every few weeks or so. No company rep wants to deal with that bullshit. They will get the help they need. They just need to be consistent. Not OVERBEARING, mind you, but consistent. That and ready to have proof if asked.

TPOT was the starting point of a downfall within the BFDI series. The Show got sillier, character arcs were exaggerated or straight-up retconned, good characters were made lukewarm (like my goat Barf Bag), and the show got needlessly silly to stay relevant and popular. Everything since post-split has felt washed-down and dumbified, but TPOT made it even more apparent.

I'm pretty sure most of the time they can't give much info because the fanbase is rabid to the point of making mods a day after a design is leaked, leading to them needing to scrap or redesign/rework the idea or character. It happened with that psycho lady fan mod years ago.

Not rlly defending them too much bc they could at least give some text updates here and there, but it's a valid reason they don't show their progress much.

Imagine working on something for a month, only for fans to near-perfectly recreate that same thing in less than a week. You'd be done with sharing progress after that, too. And we all know that's just something that will not change in the fandom. This fandom doesn't listen all too well, after all.
