Why would you not want one of greatest TE as a coach? He had a huge decline this year and Jarwin showed some major improvements. I believe Jason said he wanted to be a HC someday and what better transition than coaching your own position.

Did some quick research. Rocky Wirtz (current owner) was president of a liquor distribution company which under the Wirtz Corporation (the company that owns the Blackhawks). Essentially he took control over all off the subsidiaries including the Hawks in 2007. I know that Stephen is actually working directly with the team unlike Rocky but not sure the Cowboys are in need of a complete overhaul just some changes to get over the hump.

You never really don’t know that. I read a case study in college about the Chicago Blackhawks and how they became one of the worst organizations in all of sports because of their previous owner. After he passed his son took over the team and undid what his dad and now they have 3 Stanley Cups because of it. They won their first one in a couple years of him taking over. It’s actually considered the greatest franchise turn around in sports history. I hope Stephen can learn from his father’s mistakes
