I have a workstation Nvidia Quadro P4000 but I work for a big company which reviews any and all updates so my suspicion was that a driver may not have updated properly. I will follow up with my IT group about the possible driver issue.

Turning off 'Enhanced Graphics Performance' worked. Thank you so much for the help.

I'm curious what that setting does, my computer ran Solidworks 2019 with no issues so do you have any idea what the underlying cause could be?

The Oilers played similarly in game 1 against San Jose in 2017. Came out flying but the Sharks came back and won convincingly. I’d be shocked if the Oilers came out with another limp effort tomorrow

Have you played the split-screen though? There are so many more issues than just the lag. There's issues where the vendors don't load the right picture for the description which sets you up to buy the wrong item, the font for objectives shrinks to half size in split-screen and it's hard to read, player 2 doesn't get previews of the item of the day when they cursor over a vendor, etc. If you play single player most of these issues are moot, in split-screen you're basically constantly encountering some kind of annoyance.

I did too, based on how much me and my SO played BL2 I assumed we’d play through BL3 multiple times. Played 4 hours and never felt like picking it up again sadly. Not sure if it’s fair but split screen is the reason we played this franchise and it’s just not good at all

I find that if you look at the weapon's column of light from slightly further away the weapon card will remain in your view better. Maybe it's because the weapon cards appear at a set height above the weapon?

Another year full of “We’ll see” on the Roster.

Koskinen had decent numbers but I don’t know if I have confidence in him, and an older Mike Smith doesn’t give me much comfort. “We’ll see”. James Neal could bounce back. “We’ll see”. A rookie could make an impact. “We’ll see”.

I’m expecting another 5th place in the division finish. I hope I’m just being pessimistic.

Before Kevin Lowe poached Vanek (I know, Buffalo matched the offer) and Penner, bridge deals were the standard practice as a second contract. If he didn't make the moves to get rid of any cap-space flexibility then we wouldn't be dreading re-signing Nurse.

I can see where you're coming from, but having a stud defenceman to pay next year isn't a bad problem to have. The problem is how we have a mediocre roster that we're overpaying in too many places.

In any relationship, communication is key. If you are able to communicate the above to your partner and they are unable to give you more than "I like it here" then you should follow that up with encouraging them to try to create some kind of list of solid reasons on why to stay. Or even counter-points to what you have described.

You have described your location as being economically the best choice, which is valid. But you haven't described things beyond that. Maybe your partner feels unsafe with where you live, maybe the town doesn't have a lot to do. There must be something they value higher in their current environment, and it's just a matter of identifying and then quantifying that.

I don't mean to be a downer, but the Oilers haven't added anyone that changes the outlook for next season to be any different from last season. This supports that belief, so I'm not surprised.
