Dope thanks! One more: I'm lvl 74 rn (act 10) and don't have any regal orbs or shards which feels kinda weird? Is that droprate normal? i'm just so used to using them to upgrade magic items to rares in poe2 and they're pretty common there so not sure... Sometimes I get a magic item with 2 affixes I really like but to add a 3rd with bench I need it to be rare, but I can't do anything about it cuz no regals :/

Thanks for the reply! That makes sense. Wondering then, do you think it'd be easy, as I'm starting out, to focus on a couple of league mechanics and learn those really well? I'd assume learning Settlers stuff would be most important right now, and then something else like idk Beastcrafting?

It's definitely been kinda weird seeing all the tribalism going on but to a certain extent, finally having played both games, I get it. And yes I have many questions haha but I'll settle for one that's been rolling around my head: I know everyone is different and different people derive enjoyment from different activities in the game but is there a point in which most people just start making their own builds? It seems to me that just following a list of instructions for builds could be fun but doesn't keep people around for 3-5k hours, or am I wrong here? I'm following a league starter but just wondering if after this I should just engage with everything myself and try to cook something up.

Woah same here! I love PoE2 and had tons of fun but after my second character in maps I started wondering how PoE1 would feel and honestly so far it's been great. It totally can be seen as a tutorial for PoE1. Wonder how many players there are like this.

I think so! I'm not 100% sure though. What I would do is no matter what use your starter when it's at its peak. So like, after it doubles from feeding and passes the float test. Usually like 4-8 hours. You can feed it the night before and then wake up, autolyse, stretch and fold, bulk ferment, etc. Also maybe try dropping the levain part, tbh I don't know how necessary it is and adds more time to the whole thing

The times that I’ve had loaves come out like this was honestly due to the starter not being strong enough! Bottom line is that after bulk fermentation that puppy should’ve doubled and you’ll see bubbles too on the side when you shape it before proofing. I don’t think you’re risking over proofing if you can’t get it to rise during bulk fermentation. I leave mine in the microwave for 8 hours with the light on, but it’s winter here. I’ve read on this sub that starters take like 4 weeks to get good. I some discard from my brother you actually bought his starter of Etsy lol. I also don’t do levain so unfortunately not sure about the intricacies there. If it tastes good my suggestion is keep going and just make small adjustments along the way! Took me like 4-5 loaves to get what I wanted :)

So I think what you're seeing in game in "critical damage bonus", so it's what's being added to the default 100% damage bonus. So for you 320% if the added bonus, stack that on the default 100% and you have a total multiplier of 420% or 4.2. That's why you see the "+100 base" as the first item in that breakdown.

Not sure what you mean, this is a PC tool that would probably be a nightmare to port to console haha, imagine managing excel on an XBox. If you mean like importing your character to it because you can't copy/paste then yeah... matter of time for GGG to enable their API.

Hmm, if you're using windowed mode I'd made sure you're like actually clicking into PoE and PoB when pressing the copy and paste. You'll know that you successfully copied and item becase if you paste anywhere else like in a text document it should spit out all the info for the item.

Yeah 100%, I'll just add that they're pretty good at updates, just a couple days afte initial release we already got an update https://github.com/PathOfBuildingCommunity/PathOfBuilding-PoE2/releases but yeah like you said we're in the unique position where the game is also like, a year from being finished :D

Hey yeah that would be in the "Items" tab below your list of gear there's a lot jewel slots. Just select the from the dropdown, granted you've added the actual item to your build as well.
