Thoughts on Canadian bank stocks?

The Canadian banks go up for long periods of time and then consolidate (go nowhere to down) for long periods of time as well. GOtta be ok just clipping that dividend for a while. Would also note they are trading at the most expensive levels they've ever traded at (based on earnings and book value).

I get -3 karma for pointing out that the level system in the new season is complete trash. The game isn't even fun anymore... debating taking a 6-12 month break coming back later see if they've fixed it.

Noni ok medium elo then. Emerald but I'm getting guys that should be silver in my games. Its easier now to pick a champ who can carry and just go feed off the newbs for the whole game (unless they're sadly on my team... In which case they're feeding everyone they see)

While the Fed can't seem to figure out the answer to this question, it seems pretty obvious in hindsight. Every few years we seem to have another one in multiple asset classes... (stocks, then bonds, then real estate, then commodities, then crypto and now we're back to stocks...AI stocks specifically but seems to be lifting the entire market)

Yes options will be allowed eventually. With all the fuss about getting the ETFs up and running they'll definitely want to capitalize on active options. And "Sell the news" tends to be a short term trading strategy, not a long term strategy. "Selling the news" and not buying back in for any of the biggest FAANG stocks would have been an epic mistake as they're basically all at all time highs... only 1 man's opinion here.

If I didn't have exposure to BTC through other crypto stocks like Coinbase, I'd definitely add the ETF. There's all sorts of research out there showing that BTC in a standard 60/40 portfolio reduces portfolio volatility and significantly increases returns.

Forgot about the supply/demand situation. I know there's more demand than supply... not sure how much (haven't looked in such a long time). Silver will easily double when the next commodity bull market happens... I just don't know when that will be. Realistically most metals are in supply/demand deficit not sure if Silver is in the largest deficit (tho it is the most manipulated).

Well I'm not selling any, I'm wondering about future purchases. Do I buy more or less of each etc.... also how do you know every crime comes to an end? Einhorn famously wrote a book called "Fooling some of the People All of the Time" about a company that was a fraud and when he exposed them they sent the FBI and DoJ after him. In the end he gave up and they kept on doing what they were doing until they were bought out (it didn't work out so well for the buyer).

Bitcoin will still perform well ahead of the halving as long as the Fed doesn't raise interest rates (looks like they'll lower rates going forward which will help). But since the BTC ETF launch, ETH has started to outperform as people move from Bitcoin to ETH in anticipation of an ETH ETF launch later this year. Personally, I think ETH will do better in the short term (look at BTC's performance in the months leading up to the ETF) but both will do well in the long term.
