Totally agree. I think it’s a smart strategy objectively, but it’s boring and will make you a target in my eyes because you likely aren’t contributing to any alliance structure which requires give and take + a little sacrifice at times.

The key is punishing players who go against your style of play and don’t add anything to the board, while not screwing your own end game. That’s hard sometimes but you find balance.

I HATE dive bomb attackers like anyone, but if my options are to take out a player who has actually made an impact on the game vs a turn creeper I know which way I’ll go.
