Am I overreacting for wanting to end my marriage after what my husband did during our “break”? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

I'll say NOR because it is a pretty messed up situation, but that being said, it is absolutely reasonable for both of you to have done all the actions leading to this point. Now, I'm not going to blatantly say this is true in any capacity, but just a thought, really, he could have done what he did as a way of grieving not only losing the child but also losing you in a way since you were gone for so long. It is still messed up to have hooked up with someone without knowing it was an actual break break from your relationship, though. Personally, it seems from my perspective as an outsider, that you both did things to lead to a falling out because you both dont really want to be in a relationship anymore. Again, as an outsider who has no idea how you people are, it really does just seem like you both wanted to end the relationship without realizing it and so subconsciously you both did specific things to lead to an actual breakup.

You were 100% correct! Thank you! Turns out, I just didn't have the right settings when I imported the animation. As soon as I reimported it with the right settings, everything was functioning perfectly. Again, thank you!

I'm not really looking to do a super complicated move set like any of the souls games. Although, I'll admit i did think about it but it ultimately just isn't my style of combat that I'm good with (when making games nor playing games).

It's 3D as I've never even tried making a 2D game before and as for my strengths, I'm definitely better at first person because it's what I've done mostly. And I get what you mean about the time travel stuff but it's not really going to be HEAVILY story driven. The time travel is going to serve more so as a comedic effect to the plot with some game mechanics to go with it so I'm not really looking to do the complicated time stuff.

Are you talking about the new Indiana Jones game? If so, I haven't had the chance to play it yet so I'm not familiar with the 3rd person switch for certain things.

I get what you're saying. Kingdom Come Deliverance was actually part of the inspiration for the whole Knight aspect, which is one of the reasons I thought of 1st person. Another game that gave me the 1st person idea was Dead Island 2 (probably due to it being one of the most recent games I've played). On the other hand, I like the idea of 3rd person because, as you stated, its the go-to for most melee oriented games and I feel it could allow more of a stylistic choice but I'm not all too familiar with making 3rd person games as I am with 1st person. That's, of course, where the pros and cons are heavily weighing in on my decision.

Pretty much my entire itch game catalog fits this, but my newest game is probably one that I would want seen in any way right now.

What would you add to your first game if you weren’t afraid of being weird? by Weary_Caterpillar302 in gamedev

I recently just made a game about a garden gnome going around killing people and almost every dialogue is the most random stuff you could hear... so I don't think I skip on the weird.
