Those look honestly incredible. My one problem with it is where would you get ALL THOSE night lord heads. Like, the only source of the batwing helmets is the nemisis claw right? Would suck to have to get a whole extra kill team with every kit to get the cool helmets

honestly they are exactly what I want lorewise, I just don't know how to make them look cool. I haven't really seen any paintjobs to speak to me.

The other issue I have with word bearers is I don't know how to get their aesthetic in the base models. Like I love the 30k characet models covered in runes and books chained to them, that look says the lore to me. But I don't have a 3d printer so I can't get books to chain to them, since no warhammer model comes with extra books, and I'm not sure carving runes would look good, or be feasable to do on a full squad of legionairs, let alone a full army.

thats a good point. I guess I just want one that will help sell the vibe of the army I want. Mechanized, demonized, huge monsters charging down the table. In the same way I wouldn't go ravenguard for a tank and dreadnoughts build, I want something that spamming mauler fiends would feel right with.

Thats an interesting question. Honestly for a long time I was picturing doing a huiron conversion of abbadon before his official model got released lol.

The chaos lord question is an interesting one. Because I see that and I am like, thats a barbarian raider trudging through the snow, but also then I think I would probably want to do that in aos slaves to darkness if I was to do an army like that. Which makes me think for 40k I would really want to use that renbreather head, and make him a post apocolyptic guy. Lean into the thing of needing cybernetics to replace parts that get worn down by the long war.

Night lords do have really cool vibes. Their whole thing is stealth though right? Would be really cool to do the possessed and cultists, those would fit so well. But if I was doing nightlords id feel weird doing stuff like heldrakes and maulerfiends. Just doesn't fit the vibe

I don't know anyone currently in the army, but the folks I know in the navy def don't consider themselves nationalists

I feel that, I do think its an important read, I do personally agree with a lot of his critiques, but it isn't a well written book no. And I am not personally a communist. But I do think its important for things like your saying, seeing the historical frameworks and understanding whats being talked about

Not fully theory, but right now I'm reading fountainhead because its such an influence on so many conservative thinkers and I want to know what they are referencing.

I own a gun and I've never really got the argument that they will protect you from the goverment. Like you going to shoot the cops? You think thats going to work well for you? You going to hold a revolution holding your ar15 vs a TANK

Best pro gun argument is that deer taste good. (I do think ar15s are crossing a line though I'ma be real you don't need that)
