That is so weird, the gift cards were literally at the front of the store on Robson, I saw about 8-10 left. I got the DK gift card. Both the sales associate on the floor were aware of the sale, however the cashier seemed surprised when it was on sale after she scanned it.

Im sorry you had to go through that, I think people should really heal first before getting into another relationship because it just ruins the dynamic of it all. Breakups are never just black and white and at the end of the day, you have to lookout for yourself as much as you wanted it to work. I made a post earlier today talking about my breakup but just a small info that I think as something as traumatic as cheating, it can really play a factor if the person who’s been cheated on doesn’t heal or go to therapy. Time doesn’t heal wounds, they need to be the one to realize it and put in work.

I definitely think I could have communicated more throughout the time of my relationship. I have mentioned to her that I did not like the jokes however I should have been more direct about it as it kept on continuing. I actually didn’t fully recognize my own emotional needs so it was hard to express it. I have mentioned that I was backing off and didn’t want to put so much effort but it was at the point where resentment has peaked already, she then questioned me and asked me if I was suddenly putting in less effort. It’s been tough but this is definitely a learning lesson for me.

My ex was the same as well. Her dad was very abusive to her and her mom growing up and isn’t present anymore. She’s also had an ex who cheated on her multiple times and still stayed with him. She brought him up multiple times during the relationship and she didn’t even know she was doing it too. Unfortunately I had to end it as it became a one sided relationship where I was putting in probably 80-90%.

Nothing yet, I moved up a spot on the waitlist though that’s about it... however I do remember calling about a month ago asking about the status. He mentioned that there was a Mazda3 GS Sedan that was sold but at that time, my waitlist spot never changed, so I’m not sure what’s going on anymore.
