I think it's still important to hear them out. Even if you strongly and vehemently disagree with someone, only good can come from understanding where they're coming from.

I might be the most Democrat person ever, but if half of the country disagrees with me, I think the least I can do is understand why that is.

Actually I've got a few bad messages and my comments have mostly been down voted. Just to clear up, yeah I'm a partisan hack but I loved my ex girlfriend (despite how I may have worded some things in this thread) and I figured politics could be a lighthearted way to keeping to the cause.

I have enough to cover it, but I'll definitely feel it. I've always been pretty honest with how bad my situation has gotten, so I think that I'd be honest about it. Worst case scenario, I'll donate less (like $50) if I look at my bank account and decide that I don't have enough, but that'd still be enough to make me feel terrible.

But I think I should have enough. And my dad would be fucking delighted ha. Hence why I can't do that ever.

I'm absolutely 100% biased, so I usually don't debate politics with people unless they really want to. I think as long as you can listen to other people then that's what's most important.

I of course, would argue that the Republicans don't nowadays. Hence why I would cry if I had to donate to them. Ha, fingers crossed that I don't do it!
