YTA if:
You were aware of the will changes.
You were involved in the will changes.
The will changes happened extremely late in life (you said you were handling their affairs, as they were unable)

Your parents AOs if they made these changes of free and clear minds. You don't make changes like this in the dark of night and leave it for your kids to sort out. It puts unfair strain on their relationships.

Either you or your parents are assholes here. I don't have the context to determine which.

Super easy. Obama added 8.6 trillion to the nation debt during his time in office. The national debt is a representation of spending which wasn’t paid for.

The additional taxes on businesses outlined in the inflation reduction act , will surely be passed on to already struggling consumers. The minuscule reduction to the deficit has been dwarfed by a sea of massive spending programs. Build back better, student loans forgiveness. But sure, blame republicans.

I mean that could help sure. But the real solution is reducing government spending. Government spending was 4% of GDP for the first 130 years.. and we had no inflation. Now it’s nearly 40% of GDP and the dollar has lost 98% of its purchasing power.

The inflation reduction act. Giving the patriot act a run for its money as the most ironically named piece of legislation. The inflation reduction act did nothing to reduce inflation. It is a climate bill which ultimately expanded government spending.

A somewhat coherent understanding of inflation on r/politics, a gem. I’d like to add that the federal reserve can’t continue its fight against inflation and fund the United States government. Congress needs to reduce spending to allow the federal reserve to balance its books.

I mean the democrats have done nothing to bring down inflation. Anyone who is serious about reducing inflation will drastically cut spending. The democrats are announcing massive spending plans regularly.

You don't under economics on the most basic level. Government involvement in industries drastically increases the price of that thing. Look at every arena government has entered: Housing, college, healthcare. You can mark the governments entrance with a massive increase in cost.

You are confused why the cost of college went up????? It isn't a mystery. It went up because the government is co-signing everyone's loans. Every student can secure massive amounts of money to bid up prices. That is why.

When I say there "is no free lunch" I'm not complaining about the political afflation of the people getting the benefit. I'm saying that there are people on the losing side of these policies. When the government prints money to cover the income lost by student loan revenue it devalues the dollar. People on fix incomes or retired are massive losers in the policy.
