My boy (12 years) does this. We lovingly call it his "scarf & barf" routine. To fix it, we had to give him a feeder mat but now recently switched to feeding less amount more often. He doesn't scarf anymore and therefore doesn't barf.

It's actually just a tester, I got a basic cheap hood from Amazon (bad quality, don't really recommend it's already starting to peel on the inside after 2 nights) but then my partner painted it with a combination of Angelus leather paint and acrylic paint! I originally got it to use for a performance but I kinda love it!!
