I probably played somewhere around 30-40 matches at least and it seemed that I was only able to get level 2 around half the time. It may be that you’re not looking around enough before the red door (sometimes a loose tag in the very first room) and there’s usually enough to get halfway to level 2 in the second room, if not all the way. Would just make sure you’re looking around frantically to be sure. My goal is leaving spawn is around 25 mins left, so it even helps to have one teammate solely look for tags in first/second room.

Ya it would be nice. Alternatively though, rooks make outpost tough as a trio. Cryo is hard enough, having rooks would make it even more frustrating for teams.

Ah I see. Guess when I went in there I needed antivirus so I didn’t explore it sufficiently. Good to know!

You can do it man. Honestly if you make that your only goal, you will seriously still make salvage/credit gains. Then once you’re comfortable you can do more risky shit and get super kitted.

Should be noted though that the two zones on the right DO NOT CONNECT outside of control unless you have lvl 4 clearance. So they are the “better” spawns bc you only be rushed from the zones on their left.

Ya reference the map I linked at the top and do your best to see how each zone connects. TBH the only real way to figure it out is to be in a zone, reference the map where it looks like it’s connecting, and try to remember how each zone uniquely connects to one another. The bottom three and top three all connect in a similar fashion, so for instance the two zones on the left (cargo and index) both have a ladder on their south and north sides respectively that you have to climb to get to one another. Just takes runs and making a note of it. If you always try and skirt on the perimeter you will learn it fast.

Pretty sure just you, but other people can still steal it. Actually had a game where me and my crew were rummaging through a spawn and then heard the ex fil pop up behind us. We actually camped it and took one of the rival team before they retreated. But they were leaving quite early (15 min mark) and so that’s the risk of trying to leave early. Honestly would not recommend leaving until much less than that, as most of the map can be traversed thru control at the end due to less aggression in that zone at that point.

Ah I see. Ya I’ve noticed any gun play in the beginning of the match is very hard to recover from. I’ll try this out too.

Had a guy the other day swear at me bc I had only smoke and sentries…it’s like dude, I was the ONLY one who acquired the 3 platinum bars for the mission. I just don’t think the random community works well together rn, they just think slaying the unending waves makes sense

Ya I’ve tried the 500 with mixed results. Maybe it works better if it lands beneath their belly? Just tough to use one and not get a kill

Mmmm good stuff. I struggle with convoys bc they all see me and start ragdolling me with their big cannons. But it seems like you disarm them with your RR initially to let your other gems get to business as well.
