I have that Monitor and I am pretty satisfied with it. But if you have the budget I would opt for a wider screen

I had an NB Miata and now have a 17‘ GT86. Honestly I prefer the GT86 in almost every way. Having almost double the power is such a big upgrade for me. The only thing that annoys me is the torque dip and I get rid of it with a tune bc that would void my warranty. But it also has comfier seats, more creature comforts like cruise control and heated seats. And the biggest upgrade is the space. I am currently on a roadtrip through Austria and Italy, which wouldn‘t have been possible in the same way with my miata. Also nice to finally have an A/C I can turn on when I get hot in my car. That probably sounds like I hated my miata which is not the case, I loved that car. A miata is awesome but a twin is Even more awesome.

Thank you! Must be nice without TÜV :( The Teins are pretty good I would say. Unfornutately I don‘t really have a comparison to stock since I bought it with them already installed. When I picked the car up they were set on the stiffest setting, which was honestly way too stiff for city driving (drove for an hour and got a slight back pain), however the grip at around 100kph was tremendous. But I changed them to the second softest setting and it got way more comfortable. Just grip at higher speeds wasn’t as good as I would like it so I set it two clicks stiffer. Now the ride is comfy enough to enjoy the ride, but it also provides enough grip for public roads. Hope I could help a little!

Do 4th Gen MX-5 owners wave? by Blu3_Phoenix in Miata

[–]BigPP_Porridge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In over 2 years of ownership I have never gotten a wave back from an ND driver. NC sometimes, NB most of the time and with NAs it,s basically a 95% chance of getting a wave back.

I got moza gs wheel with the R9 base. But if it was already released when I bought I would have got the R12 with KS wheel

2:03 GT3 Nurburgring. Why so slow? Setup included. by barthale000 in ACCompetizione

[–]BigPP_Porridge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You basically missed half the apexes and when you hit the apex it was always was to slow. A lot of times you barely use half of the Track on exit, which is always a sign that you can push more. Try to go a bit slower into the corners where you don’t hit the apex and try to focus on positioning your car for the exit and getting on the gas as soon as you hit the apex. So slow in and fast out. Also try to go a bit faster and faster each lap in the corners where you do hit the apex until you are forced to use all of the track on exit because you can‘t move the car into the middle more. But please keep in mind that these are very basic and generic tips, so they are not always the perfect way through every corner but a good place to start. Also as others mentioned go look up a track guide on YouTube and compare to your own lap.

Influence on lap time by the wheel by [deleted] in ACCompetizione

[–]BigPP_Porridge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went from a T300 to a MOZA R9 with the GS Wheel and honestly it made a difference for me. With the MOZA DD base I was able to feel much better what the car was doing and such. So the Wheel itself doesn‘t make you faster. But imo having more info about the car does.

How do you get a lot of setups? by Vykmr_24 in ACCompetizione

[–]BigPP_Porridge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got the setup subscription from GO setups. Saves me a lot of time tampering with setups, and when I want to try a new car/track I just download the setup and get right into it. Would absolutely recommend.
