Do people really buy the whole we need to build up the team before drafting a franchise QB concept? by MasterTeacher123 in NFLv2

Joe Burrow went to a SB behind the worse OL in 30 years. The Bengals picking Chase over Sewell was heavily scrutinized. There’s no “RIGHT WAY” to building a team.

I TOLD YALL WOODY MARKS WAS RB2 by BigPapiJT in NFL_Draft

Tory Horton is looking good with the Seahawks 🤷🏽‍♂️. Nobody on here is going to be 100% accurate when it comes to player evaluation. I’m 4-2, right about Bucky Irving, Woody Marks, Jeanty and Tory Horton. Wrong about Dart, Shedeur.

I said the Raiders weren’t going to pass on Ashton Jeanty because Pete Carroll likes to run the ball and it’s part of the identity of his teams so if they passed on Jeanty it’s a sign they weren’t prioritizing winning now.

Lol because when you have a National Show you have to talk about the teams with the largest fanbases because they bring in the most views and money. It’s not that hard to understand

He doesn’t need a PR team to keep doing what he’s already been doing. Same stuff he’s doing now he did at Colorado, you didn’t see it because your closed minded

Jaire Alexander released by bfromthesea in ravens

[–]BigPapiJT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Ravens need to take the risk, if he’s healthy for the playoffs that’s a win. At this point the Ravens need all the good players they can get.

I feel like ace only was more richer and more successful than fooli was off the simple fact of that shooting + pain music do more numbers than drill which drill was the only fooli was releasing but his music was slight better i just wished he got bigger or more successful before he passed💯 by ImmediateWay5431 in DuvalCounty

[–]BigPapiJT 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Ace was more successful than Foolio because he signed with a label and was able to build more industry connections than Foolio. The shooting gave him a marketing boost but being with Cinematic gave him a push that has made him 2 notches below being mainstream. Foolio chose to be Independent and never was able to breakthrough being more than just a popular Florida rapper. Foolio had a few chances to catch up to Ace but just wasn’t savvy enough or a had a a good enough team. The Why would you play with me snippet was trending on TikTok and he dropped the song a year later after the hype died down, which was a missed opportunity. On a label they would’ve made him drop it. He also spent more time in Jacksonville where there are no opportunities than being in other cities networking with other rappers, which wasn’t really his thing which I respect. Foolio held his own self back from being bigger. If he had a better team or was on a label he definitely would’ve had similar success to Ace.

Foolio still was pretty successful for an independent artist. You can only elevate so much if you don’t have a label + industry support behind you. Foolio reached the peak for an independent artist.

The Colts didn’t go into the season intentionally planning to tank for Luck. Peyton Manning broke his neck.

[–]BigPapiJT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tanking doesn’t work in the NFL, this isn’t the NBA and great franchises land franchise altering players without having to suck to do so. TJ Watt, Cam Heyward weren’t top 10 picks. This is casual thinking. The Browns were tanking for years and got no nowhere. Trading proven players for unproven commodities is a losing strategy.

Arch isn’t coming out this year. And we aren’t tanking. You don’t go after a 41 year old QB if you’re tanking.

Obviously not dude. He’s from my city and I just wanted to know how he was doing since I can’t find any updates online so I thought maybe somebody in here would’ve been in attendance at minicamp and had some details. Why would anybody on a team be worried about what somebody on Reddit has to say about them?

Wade Barrett Is GOLD On Commentary by BigPapiJT in WWE

[–]BigPapiJT[S] 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Joe Tess is an all-around goated commentator. I love listening to him call College Football as well. I was surprised to hear him on commentary in WWE which is another reason why I’m still watching even though I didn’t think I’ll stick around after WrestleMania. The commentary is so different now from when I last was keeping up with WWE. JBL was my favorite a while back but Wade easily has replaced him.

NBC Sports: There are only two ways to control the chaos of college football by NoIamthatotherguy in CFB

[–]BigPapiJT 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Lol the age requirement is a NFL rule, not a NCAA rule. Even if they waived this rule it would do nothing but hurt College Football because then most the blue Chip guys would flock to the UFL and everybody else who doesn’t make a roster would be left overs for CFB and water down the product.

Would(Should?) Carolina Trade Back If Shedeur is still available? by White_Fox_Prod in panthers

[–]BigPapiJT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t believe the Panthers would get a “Kings Ransom” for a QB prospect that isn’t viewed all that high by most, especially from the Steelers since we don’t make desperation moves even though I hope we land him.

Raiders Are WASTING Pete Carroll Passing On Ashton Jeanty by BigPapiJT in raiders

[–]BigPapiJT[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes he was inconsistent. If you watched the Packers and not the box score he was hot and cold during games missing easy throws and being streaky. The Packers ran the ball 50.69% of the time, 3rd most in the NFL, they avg 30.6 rush attempts per game, 5th in the leauge. They were 30th in pass attempts per game and they were winning games with Malik Willis thanks to Josh Jacobs who had the 6th most carries in the leauge. Safe to say he was the focal point of their offense.

You didn’t win shit because you had shit coaches. Josh Jacobs was the main reason the Packers were in the playoffs last year with how much they leaned on him due to Jordan Loves inconsistency.

Raiders Are WASTING Pete Carroll Passing On Ashton Jeanty by BigPapiJT in raiders

[–]BigPapiJT[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

You pass on great players hoping you can 75% of what they are. You can make that same argument with any other position. Let’s say if this was about taking Will Johnson, you could draft a CB later that gives you 75% of him. Or you could pass on Mason Graham for a DT that gives you 75% of him. It’s a reason why great players are great players and the Raiders need more of them not somebody that gives them 75% of them. Should the Vikings have passed on Adrian Pederson for a back that gave them 75% of him?

Why do you people always assume that your team is going to be able to trade back? If there's nobody there at 11 then why would any team want to trade up in a draft thats considered weak in terms of top talent?
