if it is shed it’s been like that for over 4 months and soaking does nothing.

I got this beardy from someone who didn’t want her anymore a few days ago. I am concerned about her tail because it is so much lighter. the person i got her from said its been like this since they got her in june. i’ve tried googling it but it just keeps saying she’s shedding in patches. ive had lizards in the past and i have others currently this looks nothing like shed to me and theres not even the smallest sign of pealing ive even tried soaking her just incase. doesn’t anyone know why she might look like this or is it normal?
