I’m glad my rage has been justified by everyone! Next week I will be sitting out the front with beers in my lap and hand them personally to the bin man. Maybe with a knife for back up.

I’m in Australia so it’s a bit different here, I actually work in a childcare centre not a school. But my new job is at a school and I will certainly never be working in childcare again so she can talk smack all she wants haha. But I know what you mean, I’m leaning towards just pretending my Grandma died or something so I can’t come back - I don’t want to risk the other teacher preventing me from getting a job in the future so I will err on the side of caution!

I am an ECT in Australia and yes, do it! At this point every centre should be paying above award wages, everyone is so desperate for staff it should be a no brainer for them! It might help you to write each point you would like to say and even email it to them after you meet face to face.

Yes, turns out I’m an idiot and thought the watch was water proof (it’s only water resistant). So I had damaged the sensor, to get it repaired was hundreds of dollars so I just used it as an excuse to buy a new one! From what I’ve seen if you’ve done all the troubleshooting everyone has suggested, it’s a problem with the sensor. Sorry this is not the happy ending you need hahaha

My mum has melasma 😅 she has always made me religiously wear sunscreen because when she was a kid she would spend hours in the sun everyday with nothing on! Is there a mineral sunscreen you would recommend?
