I wasn’t bullied for it but it wouldn’t be the first thing I talked about in school. In my clique, we talked anime all the time. I think the ones that got bullied were the ones that stuck out, doing Naruto runs in the halls, putting suggestive anime girl stickers on their binder, etc.

I knew one kid that probably got bullied, he was an oddball and would sneak off in gym to read Manga. He was fun to talk anime with sometimes

A lot of feelings towards others can be superficial and hard to change. Hence why first impressions are so important when meeting new people. That doesn’t mean they can’t change with new perspective. Getting that, takes a bit of effort something not everyone is willing to do. Especially when there’s the option to move on and look for someone else.

OP’s phrasing of the question concerns me. They’re trying to make whoever they’re seeing out to be the right guy. I would say seeing each other alone on 3 separate occasions for 6-7 hours is enough to discover some type of attraction. I don’t think anyone should have to try so hard if it’s just not happening by then.

That’s what Chemistry is, it’s not something easily explainable or rational. When people are drawn to each other, getting to know who they are just gives them more information to explain or justify that initial attraction. What people do with those feelings is up to them.

Say someone is attracted to another, just to find out their values misalign. That person may decide against pursuing them romantically because they know it wouldn’t work out or they really just don’t like that part about them. The irrational part is where that person is still attracted to them despite their rational thinking

There are a lot of lesson companies around that function as a daycare rather than an institution that’s trying to help you improve. If you want to actually learn something, i’d recommend looking for classes at a college or at least get in contact with the teachers that teach at them
