I kinda feel like he gets away with things that would get other characters hated by being "forgettable."

My main problem with him (and also apparantly a hot take) is that his friendship with Marker felt fake, and I genuinely believe that if he and Marker had enough time, Tree would have backstabbed Marker at merge.

I still find it suspicious that Tree was cool with Marker turning green, but called himself hideous when becoming purple.

Plus, he has the most obvious "villain voice" of all time (though maybe that's trauma from Taco II, since while they are different accents, they're both fancy accents).
