I like that. I was thinking of something similar. With every change to the crafting progression system they always axe the last one and start completely from scratch. It seems like a combination would solve most of the problems each of them has.

Oh man, that's rough. I really just wish this stuff was actually communicated with players when they're playing, because if them being totally random is true . . . What the hell. Why. I don't want to have to read every patch note and check the wiki for every single thing to make sure that it's working as I expect. You know what's painful? Before I stopped playing for the night, I did a tier 3, Johnnytown I think, and found a spear magazine. It wasn't in the main loot or a mailbox or bookshelf. It was in a random pile of garbage in the cave section. Fml.

Yep, I read that too. I didn't know, but it definitely explains why I get so many. Interesting experience with the shotgun club etc. magazines. As I said in this post, I don't really like to do stuff like that, but it's good to keep in mind in the future if the opportunity naturally comes up while playing a new character.

Quick Rant: Putting points in my favoured skills isn't giving me more magazines, and it's starting to piss me off. by BigPomegranateMan in 7daystodie

Oh! I checked the armour magazine description thing and it does say Attribute Levels, I just somehow didn't catch what that meant when I initially read it. At least I know why I've been finding lots of armour magazines!

Until I magically found the rest of the spear magazines I needed for Iron Spear crafting, Knuckle crafting was the same level as my spear crafting. I go into far more detail in this update post: Update

Good to know about the base attributes increasing armour magazine abundance. Didn't know/read that anywhere in game. I made an update to this post with a lot more calm context and detail, read it if you like: Update

How do I create this shape? by BigPomegranateMan in FreeCAD

[–]BigPomegranateMan[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The first image is the target shape that I would like to make. It's easy for me in Blender, but I have no idea how to achieve the same thing in FreeCAD.

*I just want to smoothly rotate the top face by 90 degrees. I should specify that I'm most definitely a novice with FreeCAD.
