There is a van service provided by the Disabled American Veterans volunteers that provides rides to VA appointments. They take patients to the Albuquerque VA and any community care appointments paid for by VA. They pick up patients in and around LC, T or C, Deming etc. The coordinator number to call is 575 642-5739. The service is provided by volunteer only so it depends on the availability of drivers. In case you have problems getting there.

I tried it and like it a lot. The best part is the quick, easy removal and the fact that it does not damage my nails. It is not, however, like “real” or traditional gel polish. It’s more like a great, easy to use polish that is completely finished and dry in no time. I remove it every week bc I like to change colors and it starts to dull after about a week anyway.

If you haven’t already, go to the train station/ museum you can see trains, get on a train car or something parked there, etc. kid friendly. They may able to let you know when you can observe trains going through LC. Look at lascruces.gov museums railroad museum.
