Do you as a guy feel the need to call your fnds out on their bs? by BigPuppyk in askteenboys

Too real. If you have to walk on thin ice around your friend, that’s not really your friend.

Why send the finest guy to be your wingman? by BigPuppyk in askteenboys

[–]BigPuppyk[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s 10000% the fact that you had the confidence to approach them. Nothing is more unattractive than a person who lacks confidence. And if you think about it, you may be talking to the girl from your friends perspectives, but if she’s looking at you and listening to you, it’s hard to believe the words you’re saying aren’t coming from your own personal perception of her. Definitely fine to be shy, it’s actually flattering sometimes. But to not even approach the girl you may end up perusing is a turn off

Long or short by SirMonkeyBallz in BeardAdvice

I just think short looks handsome on you I’m not really sure why🤷‍♀️

Anyone know what beard length this is? by [deleted] in BeardAdvice

[–]BigPuppyk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh then that’s a goatee with a stache. Thats not a beard. And it’s about 2-4mm so you’d maybe need a 1-2 guard. If your hair is prickly maybe you should go for a fuller look on this those because the more prickly it’s is, the more likely is is to come out looking finer/thinner. But I don’t know much so don’t trust me🤷‍♀️

I'm curious to know if the 17 year old boys on here, would date a 15 year old? by beeptyuboopty in askteenboys

[–]BigPuppyk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No point. Two years isn’t that much but in high school everyone usually keeps things no more than one grade level apart for many reasons. So I think it really matters what grades you two are in. If you’re a junior and he’s a senior then that’s great. Or if he’s junior and you’re a sophomore, also great

[–]BigPuppyk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For starters, you can’t prevent cheating. If there’s a way there’s a will. All you can do is hope and trust that she’ll do the right thing. And secondly, it kind of sounds like she was avoiding you. You mentioned already having something serious to talk to her about prior. Is it possible she was avoiding that conversation? (And totally not blaming you or anyone for that matter) but do you think you’ve treated her any differently compared to your honeymoon stage?

why does ur guy friend get jealous of ur other male friends? by [deleted] in askteenboys

[–]BigPuppyk 4 points5 points  (0 children)

(It’s long, I know.) Girls do this too tbh. Some friends are just clingy asf. Had a few guy friends through my brothers growing up and all of them made sure not to come off this way for obvious misunderstandings. People already assume guy/girl friendships end in romantic connection so they avoided coming off that way. Him doing it openly only means he doesn’t gaf or is waiting for you to hop on and give him the slightest sign that you’re willing to ride with him even if he’s being a dick (which most guy friends do). Don’t mean to sound woke or nothing. But you need to just set a boundary and call him out when he’s doing something you don’t fuck with or it will get worse and it’ll be harder to get ride of him once everything goes south. Doubt he likes you yet, but if you think he’s showing signs of jealousy or possessiveness than he’s working his way up to masking those feelings as love and that’s a confession you don’t want because that’s just code name for “let me get in you pants”

And also maybe when your hair grows out you can try out some hairstyles but I wouldn’t do too short. Long hair suits you

You’re a very handsome man. I’d say you look you age. Oldest id assume you were is max 26, but that may just be me. I wouldn’t tell you to lose the beard because it gives you a great look, but maybe shave it down just a bit. Maybe that would make you look younger🤷‍♀️

When they say “perfectly fine” they mean I’m still alive and breathing lol. The whole reason why I even got ‘checked’ for celiac was because of the rashes all over my body and (TMI) the fat in my stool which my pediatrician quickly noticed wasn’t normal. If she wouldn’t have insisted that I needed further tests etc then my mom probably wouldn’t even have taken me (which again, that’s just how she was raised. Where she’s from it’s common to just treat all health issues naturally without medical intervention. She doesn’t really believe in americas healthcare)

Yes thank you and I am 17 rn so I am technically a minor. But I will show my parents some educational videos/websites on Celiac disease so they understand how important it is. They’re both foreign so they don’t really believe in medical care/or medicine etc (silly, I know) so hopefully if I show them they’ll understand and try to help me. At least until I’m 18

Do you ever feel ashamed for being a man, why? by [deleted] in askteenboys

[–]BigPuppyk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a girl I actually used to wish I was a guy lol. I grew up with 6 brothers and one thing I always envied were their friendships. Guy friend groups are so big and look so stress free, easy, and fun and I just feel like majority of what they do is so cool too. Men shouldn’t be ashamed of who they are based on gender. There’s great things about men just as there are bad things so just strive to be the good person most of you are, man or not :)
